The BMW E90 WTCC of the championships 2006 to 2008 is one of the evergreen mods for rFactor, maybe the most used in the years AND NOW...
...the NEW BUILD 1.52 brings a NEW FANTASY CLASS named VTCR 2019, that takes inspiration from the real WTCR!

New engine that matches WTCR requisites, new tires, etc... (thanks to the Chris "redapg" Online Tools!)
Unfortunately BMW no longer races the new class IRL, but this fantasy class can compete against other similar mods and is also BOP to BTCC.
Other improvements are:
- Position Led lights for each class in different colors
- updated realtime session for "old" tire CPM
- new tires for VTCR19 coming from latest S397
- updated to full rain effect for windows and body
- added scratchable vs. detachable items
- a lot of improvements to the physics and graphics details
- new liveries by Chris "Brack Jabham" Payne
Special thanks to Chris "redapg" and IsR testers.

Can you please tell me what the BBSE class stands for?

Great mod. I don't know how reallistic it is compared to the real car but it's very nice to drive.

thanks for this mod. I just tested it and the car drives great but there is a very loud transmission noise that makes it hard to hear the engine. Especially with other cars around I don't hear any engines.

Nice, but I think we need trainy sounds on exterior views, don´t you think?

the mod comes from the original rF1 WTCC mod of several years ago and the physics + performances where exactly how they were at that time and developed by the original author together WTCC teams and drivers. I updated the mod to rF2 improving what the new rF2 code allows without altering the performances.
About the WTCR class I added as fantasy class (because the BMW is no longer racing that class), I balanced (BOP) the performances on the current performances of the real WTCR classes

First thank you for the car, it looks very cool and got already a lot of options.
However, I still have some difficulties with the mod:
I wonder about the top speed? If I set up 100% power and adjust the gears, so that I don't get in the limiter, I get a max of ~250km/h.
For my understanding, the power should easily be enough for beyond 300km/h on long straight roads?
Also it seems to me, that the acceleration is remarkable below reality. The car is already quite slow accelerating towards 200km/h, what in real world shouldn't be a problem at all in a WTC?

Did I miss some setting to really enable full power?
