CS:GO "Crimson Assault" for counterattack music

Description
This is the bombtimer from the CS:GO music kit "Crimson Assault" by Daniel Sadowski. I made it replace the music that plays during counter-attacks in the cooperative checkpoint mode.

What I did was increase the length of the audiofile. The file was about 30 seconds, but I changed the overall length of the file by adding in the "10 second timer" as well as looping some things, so the music now has the same duration as a normal counter-attack has. I have also added a small delay before the file plays (it starts playing as soon as the "Counter attack" audio message plays).

What I have yet to do is adjust the volume further and find a way to make the music stop when the counter-attack ends earlier than it is supposed to.

I am using Audacity. I also know how to create fade-effects, make things loop seamlessly and all that. The thing is: I don't know if there is any way I can tell the game to make the audiofile fade sooner if a certain event occurs (=wiping all enemies before the time for the counter-attack runs out).

Audacity is a good place to start and there is plenty of tutorials for it on Youtube. It's all free too. Hope that helps. :hoxton:

Yeah, I might try. I still have not figured out how to make the music fade once the attack ends sooner than expected.
Plus I got lazy to be honest.

This is great. Maybe you could try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr6v2__hHfw&feature=iv&src_vid=M_sZQdJiw_A&annotation_id=annotation_658502727 The bomb and Main Menu theme from that I can see as a good canidate for this. :fhappy:

@Rymdkapsel That is actually a pretty good idea, I will get to it and update the file once I got the "music not fading" issue resolved (if there is a fix).

Add in the whole music kit, sound mods are easy to do.

This is the best music kit ever.
