Description
This is a Cascade&Columbia Communications relay utilizing a mix or large and small ship parts.
Intended for connection between 2 objects while remaining subtle as it uses laser antennas.

Recomend building satellite at desired position as it can be difficult to move however due to the battery capacity and large solar panels it is likely to last forever even if sun rotation is enabled.

Just tested it and it indeed works as in I was able to get it to connect to 2 other laser antennas. Also I used small laser antennas because the power demand is small enought that the solar panels will let the design run indefinitely. Plus 40km/600kW for large and 20km/200kW for small clearly the latter is more efficient.

I’ve made plenty of these myself and I guarantee this won’t work for what you intend to use it for. You need to have the laser antennas on rotors so that they register as separate ship grids. If you have them on one grid you can only connect to one ship at a time. I recommend using large ship laser antennas due to the fact that they are more efficient in the realm of range and power consumption.
