Description
So, you're the big Vampire on the block, got the castle, won the whole thing. But that one little comment about a prophecy somewhat left a bad taste in your mouth.

If you, like most, have that bad taste in your mouth and felt somewhat stiffed by the prophecy, you can finally do something about it with this mod!

High atop the highest peak in Skyrim, you'll find a familiar face, just visit that familiar face and donate. And may your days and nights be beautiful mayhem!

Usage: Install, visit peak, donate, enjoy!

Does not access any other scripts/quests/mods, other than Dawnguard for reading globals and using a statue texture/mesh. Safe for *ALL* Vampire Mods!

<SPOILER> It basically fires the arrows for you at 6am each day! </SPOILER>

It's visibility changes with the global 1 it's visible, 0 it's not. But if you take enough arrows, you'll be good for as many days.

I'll try that edit. I just hope it stays after resetting it to zero again. I'll let you know what happens.

Well, the way this was made was to make the lore of the quest for the vampire side more reasonable, since it did state that it would make it so vampires could walk all the time, well, it fell short on that description. This does fix that, though it's really only good for vampires because of how dark it makes it. I also dislike the comments the NPCs do about it being dark, may just see if that NPC conversation mod I saw a while back will help with that annoyance. The statue only shows up if the "PlayerIsVampire" global is 1, so you could set the global to 1, when it shows up, add the arrows and set it back to 0.

I just re-read what you said- why would I have to have a vamp. character? I can get the right arrows for it whether I go that route or not- who do I have to kill to keep the sun blotted out?!! (figure of speech)

I already had mentioned playing with load order before, but to answer your question, no- I don't use a vampire character (quite the opposite!), I just like the way the game looks when the arrows shoot out the sun and got tired of doing it everytime I turned around it felt like. The game totally rips you off on that deal. Makes the quest seem very invalidated, as if there was really no risk really, and all that was a waste overall. Anyhow- as I said- when I get thru with Serana's questline and attain the needed arrows, I'll head back up there and let you know what I find.

If your character is a vampire, it shows, if not, it doesn't. I wonder if you've got a mod conflicting with that spot, perhaps toss it down to the bottom of the load order and see if it shows up then.

Sorry I'm late getting back with you, I ended up on a new character, so haven't finished Serana's quest yet (for the arrows), but I did sneak up there to try to make sure I had the right area in my head this time- I see the ore, there's even a 'notched pickaxe' up there, and a 'sack of arfur' but no statue, just the ore veins & tool - does this not show until you've completed Serana's quests?

And if you have a mining axe, you can mine up there too, there's some ore up there.

I had the correct arrows, just didn't look hi enough I think (I took it to mean the location, being the highest, as in Throat of the World, but I see what you mean now) I will report back with hopeful success! Thanks

You need the "Serana" arrows. The location is at the very TOP of the highest mountain, way past everything else! Spoiler below, only look if you desperately need the help.

You need to go to the very TOP of the highest mountain, there is a statue there that takes "Serana" tainted arrows.
