So, you tried to get into the CCC Hacksquad Server (Or something else), got traced, and you now have a red screen saying "WARNING", "COMPLETED TRACE DETECTED" ? No problem! This guide/walkthorugh will tell you what you need to do to when you get this screen!

I think there is another walkthrough on this that was already submitted, but this is my version. :)

Lets continue!

The following screens, animations, or graphics do have flashing colors and lights!

If you have Epilepsy and have Seizures, FOR YOUR SAFTY, Consider the following...

• Close and Sheild your eyes with your arm or a object IMMEDIATELY after clicking the "BEGIN" button on the Red WARNING screen.
  
  
• While Closing your eyes and Sheilding them with your arm or object, wait 16-17 seconds before opening your eyes OR have a Family Member or Freind tell you when the flashing screens are over and done with. (WAIT until the HacknetOS x-server.sys/Desktop is fully loaded)

If you are unable to do those steps above, consider having someone do this part of the game for you when possible. (Someone who does not have Epilepsy or Seizures)

**I know some people may think this is stupid to put this in the guide, but you never know!

I'm assuming you are still at the "Warning" Screen with the "BEGIN" button. If not, Hurry to Step 2!
Basiclly, whats happening right now is you were successfully traced completly while you were trying to gain access to a certian computer in Hacknet. Your HacknetOS/Computer detected the trace's completion and has placed itself into a Emergency state to try to avert it. (Hence the state, Emergency Trace Aversion Sequnce). It's up to you to fix this.

What you are going to need to do is:

• Gain Admin Access of the ISP Mainframe
  
• Search your IP on the ISP Mainframe (when you have the Admin Access.)
  
• Assign yourself a new IP

Are you ready? I hope so.

If you are sure you want to continue and fix this, click the "BEGIN" button.

Warning: There are flashing lights and colors after clicking the BEGIN button. See the Seizure/Epilepsy WARNING! Section before Step 1 if you have Epilepsy!

There should be a red box to the bottom left side with your Hacknet IP and the ISP Mainframe's IP.

• Connect to the ISP's Mainframe IP.
  Example: connect 123.456.7.8

After connecting to the ISP Mainframe, Get Admin Access by typing the following in the terminal:

• probe
  
• webserverworm 80
  
• sshcrack 22
  
• sqlbufferoverflow 1433 OR sql_memcorrupt 1433 (if you have this .exe)
  
• porthack

After obtaining Admin Access, click Search for IP.
Type in your IP that is given in the little red box on your screen.
After searching/scanning for the IP, Click Assign New IP

You will recive a "DISCONENCTED" screen. This is normal.

There you have it, you have succesfully changed your IP and secured your PC. :)

Congrats on changing you IP, you are now safe.
BUT, what happens after you change your IP?

After you change your IP, you will lose all Admin Access on all the computers you hacked into. (Except your PC, CSEC, Asset Computers, etc.). So you will need to re-gain Admin Access to the previeously hacked computers. Naix does warn you about changing your IP in a Email after letting you join /el since that IP was white-listed.

**If this is not the case, ill remove this part of the section.
