Description

In the begining of the Cold War (somewhere between 1947-1951) IZHMASH produced classified collection of AK-47's, especially for generals and other high rank soviet soldiers.

Few years later because of the political and military tension an unknown soviet leader gave an order to 12 trusted soldiers to collect and hide the Red Sons, trying to save the legacy protecting the collection from destruction in case of bad scenario at the end of the war.

The collection was collected and hidden. Few days later these 12 soldiers meet his leader to give him information about the location of the hidden Red Sons, but during the meeting they where surprised by the enemy and all 12 soldiers was killed incliuding their leader.

The secret of the hidden collection died with them and the collection was lost.

Now more than 65 years later the Red Sons are found in old abandoned warehouse by antique seekers. Now many years after the end of the Cold War, all political and military reasons are just a history and the collection was released to the market.

Some of the weapons was used in the Cold War battles, but knowing that during the Cold War was no large-scale fightings, many of these weapons from the collections are not even touched and they are in perfect condition.

Some historians are saying that this collection is created as legacy to the future generations, some are saying that its a reward for all soviet generals for their service.

No one knows for sure, but all that we know now is that many weapons from this collections are trading on the black market because the collection is limited and many private collectors wants to have one of these Red Sons in their collections, because there is no other distinctive AK-47 like this that is bearing in itself so much history and atmosphere of an whole era from more than 60 years ago.
