eRe4s3r's Coal Plant | realistic | 5x7 | custom LOD

Description
eRe4s3r's Coal Plant (realistic)

## This Building now has (hopefully) Night time lighting (in form of props, not texture glow surfaces)
## This Building has a custom LOD
## This building is a "set" with my recycling plant and sewage plant (pictured above)
## Completely custom model and textures

Produces 64MW power

2820 triangles (300 LOD)
1024x1024 texture map (128x128 LOD)
40ish props used
Plot Size: 5x7

This version has realistic emission (noise and pollution) values, there is also a cheat version in my workshop with no emissions, this is because in the set, this building is supposed to be next to the recycling plant and sewage treatment, so the ugly purple polution is not my idea of fun (and would break the set, because sewage treatment would make everyone sick!). ;)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a set consisting of my coal, sewage and recycling plants. If you build them like in the above screenshot the buildings align together and people can walk through the main path (through recycling plant and sewage treatment, so no road connection needed in-between.

You can also leave 1 tile space between coal/recycler <-> sewage, and build a walking path. If you do, people can walk through the complex.

## Note: For set use, use the cheat version of the coal plant, noise values have been balanced for this, and the set will NOT work with pollution!

Great looking :)
I just find to a little to cheap compared to vanilla items.

Ah, you just build them, the game handles the rest. You don't need to do anything else. Once you build a coal plant and connect it, a truck will spawn and deliver coal every now and then from outside your city boundaries. So just plop it down and it works ;) Generally speaking it works better when there aren't any traffic jams wherever your city connects to the highway though.

I dont know how the other coal plants work in the game either, um whats area border in a truck about now?

It works like any other coal plant in the game ;P
Coal spawns at the area border in a truck and is transported to the plant on your roads, the more chaos on your roads, the less reliable that is.

I don't mind that at all ;)

Great power plant. I hope you don't mind, I modified it a bit and added to a collection of several other custom power plants that I've set up with statistics that are consistent with each other. I of course gave you full credit for the original design. If this is a problem, just let me know and I'll remove my version from the Workshop.

it means realistic emission (noise, pollution) stats vs cheat emission stats. The building itself is not realistic at all, it's a fantasy style ;) (If it weren't, I'd mention the complex it's based on)

But you are totally right, and should the game ever actually handle this properly, I will even contemplate doing that. I'd love to add railway depot and storage, chutes, silos and assorted to this at some point, as an extra building even (custom coal freight station would still spawn cargo though, and not coal). But I actually tested this as first thing, when I made a custom freight station everything was extremely freaky. (meaning huge swalls of trucks would block the entire supply chain with coal). So until we get FAR superior ways to restrict what a train station does and doesn't do this would be good for looks, but horrible for the running of your city. (Sadly!)

A realistic power plant would have trains
