Bluemoon park (modular) - cntr 2

Description
Made up of two end tiles and an assortment of inbetween tiles and attachments, this modular park can be as long or as short - or as deep - as you choose.

Ideal for placing:

- opposite schools
- at bus stops
- at the ends of roads

Each tile attracts a few tourists and generates a bit of garbage.
Happiness is enhanced over a modest distance.

Construction: $300
Maintenance: $10

The tile with the hamburger stall costs $500, maintenance $15. It also uses 48kw electricity and generates a bit more garbage. To offset that though, it attracts a few more tourists and has a slightly greater range-of-effect on happiness.

BUILDING PLAZAS AND ALLEYWAYS

The plaza tile costs $100, maintenance $2.40.

By using the plaza tile or the alcove tile, you can also construct large and small / square or oblong plazas and even odd-shaped ones, like say an alleyway with a hamburger stall at the far end.

Bear in mind though, that to create plazas you will need to construct a temporary 'scaffolding' road, as a tile must attach to a road when it is laid down. The gravel road is the best one to use for scaffolding, as it's the narrowest. But once the tile is built the road can be demolished, and the tile will stay in place (I've tested for one year ingame and the tiles don't become abandoned).

So building a plaza takes a bit of forward planning!

Interesting point ... when I tested, garbage was still collected from tiles up to 4 tiles away from a road, which did surprise me somewhat, as I didn't think that would work! More than 4 tiles away though, the garbage isn't collected, so alleyways with a hamburger stall at the end should be no deeper than 4 tiles.
