@emsi .... build yourself 2 cargo train terminals. On one, just have a "normal" road feeding into it. On the other one, use this road setup. See which one clogs up with traffic first and completely fouls up your road network.

Genuinely useful. It is now my "standard" for building cargo terminals for both rail and ship. The exit ramp could use a bit more of a stub though, it is difficult to connect to sometimes and I usually rework the ramp.
