Description
ACCEPTING TRADING CARDS AS DONATIONS

A SWEP based off of the TTT Vampire SWEP.

This is the Vampirism SWEP! This is a much more powerful version of the Vampire SWEP with some added features (more coming soon)!

This mod is undergoing a total overhaul, so the features below are only going to be around for a little while.

Features:

-A Primary Attack that has an animation that forces the player to stand still but will one-shot most enemies and give the user 50% of the damage dealt back has health.

-A lighter Secondary Attack that is faster, has no life drain (or fully functioning animation just now), and only does a fith of the damage the Primary Attack does. Use when you need to defend yourself as it has half of the range of the bite itself.

-A Hiss. Press your Reload key to let out a hiss that can be used to scare away or attract other players depending on how confident they are around an angry Vampire. (Currently sounds are broken. Use this key to reset your HoldType!)

-Feed off of corpses! If there are no living people around to supply you with fresh blood try having some stale blood. Not as good as fresh blood but good enough.

-Teleport mark/send. Let's you mark a location and teleport to it. Simple!
Press [USE] + [PRIMARY] while in Blood Mode to mark and [USE] + [SECONDARY] to teleport to it.

-Mist Form! Turn almost completely invisible! Press [RELOAD] in Blood Mode to use.





Known Bugs:

- Custom sounds are broken. I have no idea why. They were fine before it became a GMA.

-The secondary attack will change your holdtype to "melee" making you look like you have an invisible crowbar out. (A temporary fix has been made. Press your reload key!)

NOTE: Most, if not all, of this stuff does not work, is incomplete or is not implemented in the test version.


#1: I was thinking yes, but I'm not 100% certain what powers will be granted and whether or not they'd be different from the Master.

#2: It's something I experimented with. Although it worked, it made it hard to use as it was intended. Mist Form was intended to be a way to quickly escape from or to sneak up on people; it comes from Blood Omen/Legacy of Kain and works in a similar way. I put a damage resistence effect on it to make it more viable as an escape route as the people I tested the mod with found that it was easy pickings on anyone they spotted in Mist Form. If I decide to make it actual smoke again it'll be because it's not an effective form of stealth.

#3: While in Beast Form, the player is around 20-30% faster than normal. This is because a player in Beast Form is around 20-30% taller (for intimidation). Their health is also multiplied by 8.5 to compensate for the fact that they're only allowed to use melee.

#4: Again, while in Beast Form, the player has the ability to see living players and NPCs through walls when within about a 30m radius. I've tried my best to balance this by making the screen look as much as possible like a Sentinel using Echolocation in Nosgoth.

#5: I think so, but I've got no clue what to do with it. I'm thinking silver melee, guns, crossbows, UV lights, ect. Might go watch Van Helsing for ideas (I think that's got good reviews after the pilot).

Changelog:

-Added animation for secondary attack in 3rd person. First person ones may appear in the future. I dont know.

-Added the ability to move while biting a target so they dont run away as often. Let's face it, you had to break their legs first.

-Upped the amount of health that the bite can be used at. To make way for the upcoming Blood Mode in which it might be put up again. You never know!

-Added feeding off of corpses. Feeding off of statues and some props may work but I wouldn't expect them to. Press [USE] + [PRIMARY] to use on a ragdoll.

-Fixed Mist Form. It now ends upon death and can be used with other weapons.

@Razfur1 it is, for now, I'm afraid. I don't get much time to work on stuff like this anymore and frankly the time I do get I prefer to play things other than Gmod. If I ever make a comeback I'll make sure you guys know about it.

That is the link. The difference is that it has less abilities, the changed way of how teleportation and invisibility is handeled and is easier to use.
