Preparation
Before we get into serious heisting, I'll go through the basics.

Step One: Consumeables

To get started, you'll need to get stocked up on Snacks and Body Armor. These items can be used during a mission to recharge armor and health.

Snacks are available for purchase at any Convenient Store in Los Santos. Just remember not to point your gun at the clerk before buying the goods.

Body armor is sold at every Ammunation store and while all players have a set limit of Snacks, the amount of Body Armor a person can carry, increases with gametime. Level 1 players start out with a single slot of Body Armor and gain another for every 15 levels they advance, up to 10 Body Armor slots at level 135. At earlier levels it's wise to stock up on armor frequently, to ensure you don't get into any sticky situations during Heists.

To access Consumables during missions open up the Interaction menu (M) - Inventory - Body Armor / Snacks.

Step Two: Gear

Aside from consumeables, the next vital thing to keep you safe during heists are Utility Vests and Bulletproof Helmets. Utility vests greatly increase the amount of damage you can endure, and Helmets prevent you from dying to an unlucky headshot.

Both of these items are available for purchase from any clothes store. Utility Vests can also be bought from Ammunation (As a full outfit), and Helmets from the Mask & Hat stand at Vespucci Beach.

As a sidenote: Only the Torso and Head piece count toward extra armor. Battle pants or specific boots will not increase your defense.

Once you've acquired the vests and helmet, you'll have to set them as a saved outfit. When starting a heist, for the clothing options select Player Owned Outfits. This way you can wear the armor during heists.

Step Three: Vehicles

The only vehicle suggested for heists that involve firefights is the Armored Karin Kuruma. This lightweight bulletproof car will reduce mission time and greatly increase your survivability.

Some might favour the Insurgent over the Kuruma, due to its great explosive resistance, but thanks to the Insurgent not having bulletproof windows, I wouldn't recommend it. Karin Kuruma can withstand fire from all sides without a thought, while the Insurgent would have to constantly keep moving to keep enemies from blasting the windshield and the people inside.

Another tip for missions that mostly consist of driving from point A to point B is to get a fast Super car, such a Pegassi Zentorno or Progen T20.

Hiding Spots

Hidden within the city are specific spots that police officers won't follow you into. The most commonly used ones are the entrances to the underground sewer system.

The first one is located at Davis/Carson Avenue.

And the second one I know of is located on the highway right under the purchasable property of 4 Integrity Way.

Now that we've looked over the basics, let's head to the heists themselves.
The Fleeca Job

The Fleeca Job is an introductory heist to guide you through what's to come. It's fairly simple with almost no chance for mistakes.

Since this heist takes little time to complete and has a fairly simple Elite Challenge, it's very profitable to grind with a suitable teammate. The entire heist should take around 30 minutes and offers a
$72 000 payout (50% split)+ another $50 000 for the Elite Challenge.

The Heist consists of 3 jobs: Scope out, Kuruma & The Fleeca Job.

Day 1: Scope Out

Ride to the Fleeca bank building with Lester to hear his plan of robbing the joint.
Ride back to his factory to pick up tools and equipment for the heist.
Then head back to your apartment, so Lester and his assistant can set up a planning wall.
No real fighting or threats.

Day 2: Kuruma
This one can be tricky for people just starting out but anyone who's done it at least once before should know how to handle themselves.
The mission objective is to steal an Armored Kuruma from a parking lot guarded by Korean Mobsters, and bring it back to Lester's factory.

The easiest way to steal the Kuruma.. is with a Kuruma. Since the car is guarded by mobsters who'll happily rip your head off, you're best off going at them with an armored car of your own. The mobsters should be easy to dispose of, and making your way back to Lester shouldn't pose a threat either, since you're now riding in an armored car.

If you choose to take the mobsters out on foot, make sure to enter the parking lot from the south side and use the parked cars as cover. Once you make it to the car, driving back should be a piece of cake.

Day 3: The Fleeca Job

Here is where player roles appear. Both players have their own role and objectives to complete during the mission. During later heists this can mean groups of players travelling to completely different places of the map to carry out specific jobs dedicated to the corresponding role. This one is fairly simple though. From this point on, roles will be marked with the Italic font.

The heist starts out by the two players making their way to Lester's factory to pick up the stashed Kuruma. The driver is in charge of... you guessed it, driving. While he focuses on getting to the bank as quick as possible, the driller is presented with a minigame to hack into the bank security, so he can later open the vault door remotely. This is a simple lead the trail from point A to point B minigame, switching the direction with directional keys on your keyboard. As you arrive at the bank, the driller must bring up his phone and use the vault door app in the bottom right corner. Once the door is opened, exit the car, put on your masks and hastily make your way inside.

During the next phase, the driver needs to destroy cameras throughout the building and keep civilians under control. This can be done simply by shooting a few bullets at the walls.
The driller must quickly make his way through the vault door and to the deposit box. While drilling, make sure to pull back if the drill turns red, to avoid overheating. Once you break the 4 locks and remove the deposit box, run back to the car and drive toward the marked objective.
Once you get to the Bridge, drive under the Chopper with a large magnet attached to it, and you should get hooked on.

Congratulations - Profit!

Extra Information:

When grinding the Heist, it's best to start the heist from the house on Alta street, since it's the closest house to Lester's factory. The Elite Challenge requires you to do the heist (finale) in less than 5:20, so every second counts. Make sure to use a super car to get to the kuruma as fast as possible.

It also requires you to keep the car damage under 6% so when escaping from the bank be quick and avoid driving into cars. Shoot the officers at least once so they fall down (to stop them shooting at you).
The Prison Break
The Prison Break is a heist concentrating on releasing Professor Maxim Rashkovsky from incarceration. To pull off this prison break you'll need to complete 4 Setup missions leading up to the Finale. Unlike the first heist, these missions will be done with a crew of 4 people.

Completing the heist awards $ 200 000 - $ 500 000 (100% split).

Day 1: Plane

This setup involves making your way to McKenzie Airfield to hijack a plane guarded by the Vago gang. As you get there a large amount of Vago forces will open fire on you and try to defend the airfield, so it's advised to bring a Kuruma.

Dispose of the waves of goons thrown at you and defend the Pilot while he takes off with the Velum. Once the Vagos have been taken care of, the ground forces must leave the Airfield and wait for the Pilot to make his way back into Los Santos and stash the plane at the Los Santos International Airport.

As long as everyone stays inside a Kuruma during the Airfield raid, I don't see anything that could go wrong. If you decide to take the forces out on foot, make sure to keep an eye on your health and apply armor vests when needed.

(Trip Skip advised)

Day 2: Prison Bus

This heist can be successfully completed within 5 minutes, if done right, and shouldn't pose much of a threat to an average team. Players must make their way to the desert and ambush a moving prison bus. Time is of the essence. Since the bus is moving you'll want to catch it at the opportune time. Use a super car to reach it as fast as possible. Once you reach it, shoot the bus driver and the driver of the patrol car behind it. Then proceed to take down the chopper circling around the bus and quickly hijack the bus. Head straight into the desert and lose the heat.
Doing all this fast and efficiently will guarantee you a quick getaway and safe mission finish. If done quickly enough, you should get into the desert before patrol cars show up. Once the cops have been lost, proceed to the mission objective

Day 3: Station

In this setup mission the team is divided into groups of two.

The first team (Police Station Team) has to steal a police vehicle, lose the heat that comes with it and make it over to the Mission Row Police Station. There they'll infiltrate the station and steal documents of a prison bus schedule. Once the documents have been acquired the team must dispose of the police car and bring the documents back to the Host's home.
Call 911 on your phone to attract a police patrol and hijack their vehicle. If you're confident enough you can lose the cops by the time you get to the station. Otherwise head to the sewers below ground. For a detailed map of these locations visit the Preperation segment of this guide.

Team two (Boat Team) heads to the marina to recover Dr Rashkovski's prized car, the Casco. The car is inside a container on top of a cargo ship surrounded by mobsters. There isn't much helpful advice I can give other than to keep an eye on your health and re-apply armour when necessary. As you make it up the ship ladder, head up another floor and jump onto the containers. Try to avoid the mobsters, as it's not necessary to kill them. Make your way to the topmost part of the ship, leaping across containers and recover the vehicle. You must now lose the mobsters and cops and make your way where you previously dumped the bus. While escaping make sure to keep the interaction menu open and apply extra armour when needed.

Day 4: Wet Work

Here also, the team is split into groups of two.
Team one heads to the capital building to kill a pair of lawyers, while team two are sent after a buisness associate of Rashkovsky, Dima Popov.

Team one is recommended to use a Kuruma, since they'll be in direct contact with the police. Reach the mission objective and ambush the lawyers. Once they're dead make your way back down the ladders and collect the dropped briefcase in a Kuruma. Once acquired lose the heat and make your way back to the Host's house. You can easily lose the cops on the way to the safehouse, or you can resort to safe spots that the police can't reach, mentioned in the Preparation section of the guide.

Team two has to make their way to Popov's mansion. Here you can either use stealth to silently dispose of him, or alert the premesis and ambush him at the building exits. Either way goes and should be done quicker than Team one.

Heist Finale

During the final day the team will be split into three groups.

The pilot needs to recover the Velum from the airport and pick up the ground team once they've escaped prison. The pilot can take his time, since after getting to the objective, he'll be tailed by a military jet for the reminder of the wait. The best way to stay safe is to get behind the military jet, since the AI will bug out and won't be able to attack you back.

The demolitionist's main job is to give air support to the pilot, but destroying the military jets will just spawn new ones, so they're better left alone. The demolitionist shines when the prison escape is complete and he has to dispose of police helicopters tailing the Velum. During the prison escape, make sure not to get too close to the prison or you'll risk getting shot down.

The ground team has to make their way to the stashed prison bus and then infiltrate the prison. Before heading to the prison, the officer should drop a weapon and some ammo to the prisoner, since all of his weapons will be gone for the reminder of this mission. Another tip to keep you safe inside the prison will be a Kuruma. Yes, you can get a Kuruma inside the prison. When nearing the prison, park the Kuruma just outside the parking lot and enter the prison bus. Make your way inside and after dealing with the first batch of guards, run out the same gate you came in from. Grab your Kuruma, re-enter the prison and make your way to Rashkovsky. (If you're having troubles getting to the desired locations inside the prison, keep in mind that the weaker metallic gates can be broken with the car).
Recover Rashkovsky and kill all cops from inside the Kuruma. Make your way towards the airfield directly through the desert and board the plane. Make sure to re-apply armour when in firefights.

During the plane's escape the Demolitionist should dispose of incoming choppers so the rest of the team can lose the cops as fast as possible. The reminder of this mission is safe and very straight forward.

Heist complete!
The Humane Labs Raid
The Humane Labs Raid is one of the most dangerous heists, with the most deadly parts being Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 and the Finale. Since every mission in the heist is fairly straight forward, I can't offer any real special ways of executing the missions. Make sure to equip heavy armour and stock up on re-applyable armour and snacks.

The Heist will reward you with $ 270 000 - $ 675 000 (100% split) and will take around an hour to complete.

Day 1: Key Cards
In this set-up you'll need to survive a firefight with the FIB, which shouldn't be to difficult, granted you're wearing heavy armour and applying extra armour and snacks when necessary.

Make your way to the parking lot marked on your map and get in positions. Once the cutscene ends you'll be surrounded by FIB troops. The Southern Overwatch should focus on exploding the FIB vehicles on the main street and cover the team by shooting the troops incoming from the small Northern allyway. The Northern Overwatch should climb down and join the Bodyguards. The Bodyguards on the parking lot should either hide behind cars and carefully get the enemy troops or hide in the garage with the 'CAESARS Auto Parking' sign hanging over it. Take your time and focus on surviving. Apply armour and snacks when needed.

When the hostiles have been cleared collect the briefcase and hijack a car. Make your way back to your apartment and avoid shooting at the FIB troops to in return be shot at less.

Day 2: Insurgents
This mission focuses on hijacking two armored Insurgents and delivering them to a drop-off point.

Grab your Kuruma or Insurgent and head to the Quarry marked on the map. Once there take care of the hostiles and enter the Insurgents in teams of two. Next you'll have to deliver the insurgents to the drop-off point marked on your map, while being chased by incoming waves of Merryweather troops. Before setting off take care of the two incoming choppers using the Insurgent's 50. cal. Shooting the troops on the move isn't necessary, but is recommended. Keep the interaction menu open and be ready to re-apply armour. The set-up will finish once the Insurgents have been delivered.

Day 3: Collect EMP
The upcoming mission is the most difficult in the heist and focuses on stealing a military Hydra.

Make your way to the Dinghy and head to the aircraft carrier. Make your way through the ship carefully, applying extra armour when necessary keeping an eye on both the explosives scattered around the base of the ship and the enemies on the upstairs walkways. Be sure not to use explosives in a close quarters environment, since accidents tend to happen. Be very careful when entering the ship quarters, since the cremates there are wielding shotguns.

Make your way to the aircrafts on top of the ship and board them. Take out the squadrons of enemy jets using lock-on missle launchers (Switch targeting modes with Tab) and stay behind them to avoid getting shot at. When flying make sure to steer clear of friendly jets and eject upon trouble. Once the jets have been dealth with, either escort the Hydra to the marked location or let it go alone, abandoning the jets.

Day 4: Valkyrie
This set-up is fairly simple and shouldn't take too long to complete.

Make your way to to the Merryweather base in a Kuruma or Insurgent and dispose of the Merryweather troops and choppers stationed there. Board the Valkyrie chopper and head toward the stash location marked on your map, taking out the incoming choppers one by one. As a pilot make sure to position the chopper according to the approaching choppers to take them out with minimal risk. The set-up will be completed upon your arrival.

Day 5: Deliver EMP
The following mission is very simple, but cannot be rushed.

Go to the previous Insurgent and Valkyrie drop-off location and board the Insurgent waiting for you. Make your way to Humane Labs and trigger the checkpoint. Once it finishes 3 of the group members should continue on foot, while one should stay in the Insurgent and follow them after each elimination.

Take out the guards positioned at the gate and the sniper positioned ahead. Next wait for the incoming Insurgent to leave the sight of any guards or scientists and take out the driver. Move along and eliminate the next two guards and scientists. As you start making your way along the path to the next enemies, two more scientists will appear. Take them out before they reach anyone's line of sight. Next take out the sentry patrolling upstairs and then the final scientist and guard. If your Insurgent driver has been keeping up with you he may now safely approach the garage door. Execute the door hack and park the Insurgent inside. Exit Humane Labs in the vehicle parked next to the garage and the mission will be complete.

FINALE
Stock up on armour and snacks before the mission, since this will be a heavy firefight.

Make your way to the Valkyrie drop-off point and board the chopper. Head toward Humane Labs and gain altitute on your way there, since the checkpoint is fairly high in the sky. Next wait for the checkpoint to activate and as the Ground Team, parachute to the ground.

Once the ground team has made their way to the parking lot, you can blow up the front door with any type of explosive, activate your night vision and start clearing the corridors. Be very careful, moving from cover to cover, and preferably using shotguns to quickly dispose of enemies. There are a few glitched walls among the corridors that enemies can shoot you through from the other side so keep a keen eye on your health and re-apply armour when needed. Steal the data and make your way out of the Laboratories using the underwater passageway. If you already own a rebreather, stock up on charges before hand at an Ammunation, while if you do not own one, you'll be provided with one with additional charges added to it.

As the Chopper Team stay at relatively high altitude, first focusing on the incoming choppers and then on ground troops. Once you've defeated enough waves of enemies they'll stop spawning and when the ground team has finished inside the facility you can make your way to the point marked on this map to regroup with the Ground Team.

Before the mission is finished you'll be confronted by another couple of hostile choppers. Just position yourself according to the incoming choppers and let the miniguns do the work.

Heist Complete!
Series A Funding
Time for the 4th heist in the series - Series A Funding. This heist is particularly dangerous, with each set-up being tougher than the last. There's not much help I can give you for this heist, since it mainly consists of driving and shooting. Just make sure to stock up on extra armour and snacks between missions.

The heist should take around 2 hours and offers $ 202 000 - $ 505 000.

Day 1: Coke
This mission consists of splitting into teams of two and making your way to a drug stash Yacht. The team approaches the yacht via helicopter and boat. The boat team should clear the bottom floor of the ship and then head upstairs, also taking out incoming hostile Choppers. The chopper team should land on the front-side of the ship and clear the ship on foot.

Once the hostiles have been eliminated and coke collected, take out the enemy choppers and board yours. Make your way to the marker on your map to finish the set-up.

Day 2: Trash Truck
This mission is especially brutal, for you cannot use heavy armour and have to rely on re-applying armour swiftly when needed.

Make your way to the marker on your map and take out the guards sationed there. Keep an eye on the gas tanks to not go out in a blast.
To stay safe during the reminder of the mission you may follow the trash truck with a Kuruma. This way you'd drive to each location with two seperate vehicles, jump on the trash truck to activate the checkpoint and swiftly jump in the Kuruma to wipe out the enemies. Once they've been eliminated collect the trash and move to the next location. This could turn out tricky, since you don't have too much time to waste.

Otherwise you can make your way to each checkpoint and collect the trashbags while fighting, which will definitely save you some time. For the gas station checkpoint, though a Kuruma is suggested, since the amount of enemies will be greater than before and they'll be coming at you from multiple directions.

While exiting the truck, make sure it's stationary to avoid unnecessary team damage.

Day 3: Bikers
This mission can once again be attempted with heavy armour on and shouldn't pose too much of a threat.

Make your way to Trevor's trailer and then onto the Dinghy neaby. Drive towards the checkpoint, spamming flares on the way there for a bit of fun. Once there clear your way across the trailer park using a suppressed weapon (any) and split between the two vans. While on you way back try to target the heads of hostile targets, but focus on driving and surviving. Keep the interaction menu open and apply armour when necessary. Restrain from using explosives to avoid accidental deaths.

Day 4: Weed
Prepare for a nightmare, and stock up on armour and snacks.

Head towards the marker on your map in a Kuruma (or two) and once there clear the site of hostiles. Now steal the two trucks and the Technical and start making your way back to the city. During the ride let the Technical go first to clear the roadblocks without any troubles. Both the drivers of all vehicles and the man on the turret have to keep a keen eye on their health and armour up when needed.

Day 5: Steal Meth
This set-up requires extreme care, since you'll be transporting a giant explosion hazard.

Enter your Kuruma(s) and head toward the O'Neill farmhouse.

Dispose of hostiles on site both inside and outside the house from the comfort of your armored cars and collect the tanker. Head towards the marker on your map and try to stay off road to avoid enemies, while also keeping the tanker safe. Use the beachside shortcut to stay clear of enemies and get there fast.

DO NOT USE EXPLOSIVES - should be self explanatory.

FINALE
The finale is as dangerous as Day 4 so make sure to stock up on armour and snacks.

Go to the marker on your map and meet Trevor. You'll be ambused and have to survive a firefight with hostile troops and vehicles. You may use explosives to dispose of the vehicles, but handle them with extreme caution. Once the enemies are dead the timer will start. Enter the vans and Technical and start making you way to the final checkpoint.

Let the Technical go first once again to take care of hostile drivers. Target the drivers themselves rather than cars, for explosions on a highway can result in a massive chains of explosions. Focus down helicopters as soon as you have sight of them and keep applying armour when needed.

This mission shouldn't be too hard and finishes when you reach the marker.

Heist complete!
The Pacific Standard Job Part 1
If you're aiming for the Criminal Mastermind bonus and have made it this far, kudos to you, but you're not out of the mud yet. If you died along the way, don't throw down your guns just yet. It took me about 7 tries and 3 teams to get there, with one of the tries failing at the last setup mission of this heist.

The Pacific Standard Job consists of 5 setups and a finale, offering anywhere from $0 to $1 250 000 to be distributed between the players. Whatever amount you steal and get away with, will be your payday.

Day 1: Vans

Fairly pointless mission with no signs of distress.

Team is split into groups of 2.

Drivers.. lay back and wait. This mission was intended to be carried out by having one driver and navigator per car, but can be handled more efficiently with just a navigator doing the work.

Navigators have access to an app called Tracify on their phones that they'll use to locate 4 Post OP vans. Approach the vans, but don't do anything to spook the driver. That involves bumping into them, pointing a gun at the driver, or shooting a weapon all together. Take a picture of the vans' license plate and move on to the next one. Lester will then mark one for you to hijack. Take control of the marked van and bring it to Lester's factory.

Tips:
*The vans will always spawn in the same places at mission start, so memorising the fastest routes to each one will work every time.
*The van you have to finally steal is also always the same one.
*To avoid Wanted Stars while jacking the marked van, hijack it, rather than shooting the driver.

Day 2: Signal

Lester tells you to capture and retrieve a hacker by the name of Avi Schwartzman. He's being held up by the Police at an island north of Chumash.
Lester tells you to use some Seasharks to reach the island and marks them on your map, but a better option would be to make your way up the road even more to reach an unofficial Seashark spawning location near the island itself. Using a fast car to reach the second position will save you a lot of time, considering speed on water is fairly slow. Pick up the jetskis and board the island.
Avi's hut is surrounded by policemen who you'll need to dispose of. Take cover behind various boxes and keep en eye on your health. This shouldn't pose much of a threat. Once you've taken care of the officers and regrouped with Avi, you'll be forwarded onto a boat to leave the island with.
You'll need to lose the cops and bring Avi to the marked location. There's three main ways to get Avi back safely:

1) Kuruma
For this to work you'll have need to have selected a Kuruma as your personal vehicle for the mission. This will only work once after regrouping with Avi since your vehicles will completely despawn if you fail.
Make your way on-shore with Avi and quickly approach a road. Open up your interaction menu (M) and select "Request Personal Vehicle". Enter the delivered car and make your way to the waypoint on road.
It'll be difficult to lose the Heat, if the whole team doesn't split up into seperate vehicles. You can't start losing the cops until you make it close to the waypoint (Through the tunnel on the highway), so you won't have much space to drop them on.

2) Boat
The team boards the provided boat and proceeds to escape through the Canyon near the island. The way through the canyon is safe (approx 3 on-foot cops) and you can quite easily lose the heat once escaped from the Canyon to an open lake. When you've lost the cops make your way on-shore and either call your personal vehicle as in the Kuruma method, or steal a civilian vehicle and deliver Avi to the marked position.

3) Chopper (Suggested)
When starting the mission, the team heads further into the city and towards the Vinewood Police Department. On top of the building SHOULD be a fully functional helicopter that you can use to both get to the island Avi is located on, and escort him to the final checkpoint of the mission. Make your way to the building marked on the following map and scale the building to reach the chopper.

There is a chance that the chopper might not spawn. If that is the case, drive a few blocks back and come around again. This might take a few tries, but the chopper should eventually spawn.

Day 3: Hack

Team is split into two groups consisting of 3 soldiers and 1 driver.

The Driver will head toward the marked van, while the 3 other members head to the location marked on this map in a Kuruma. Here lies a parking lot crowded with members of a rival heist crew. Take out the members and wait for the driver to arrive with the van.
Next you'll make a switcharoo with the vans and the 3 'soldiers' will head into the black van, while the driver gets back into the original white van. The driver shouldn't have problems on the way back to Lester's factory, while the Black van team will be chased by enemies. Constantly keep the interaction menu open to re-apply body armor. Make your way to the waypoint and blow up the distraction van as instructed.

Day 4: Convoy

In this set-up mission you'll be ambushing a military convoy and stealing a truck containing explosives.

Make your way to the set-up point in a fast vehicle and once the checkpoint activates, grab your sniper and aim in the general direction of the chopper now marked on your map. Dispose of the chopper from a distance and get ready to deal with the Convoy. Either set up an ambush at the bridge or take the fight to them directly, depending on whichever approach you're more comfortable with.

The following section can be done multiple ways, depending on the experience of the team.

1) Guns Blazing
The team rushes through the waves of enemies getting to the end as fast as possible.
This is the most dangerous, but also the fastest method of going about the mission. The team should split into two groups with three members heading into the armored Insurgent and one into the military Truck. The aim is to focus down the incoming choppers with the 50 cal of the Insurgent, while the drivers of both vehicles target the heads of small convoy drivers.

2) Chopper amush
The team steals the Truck and Insurgent making constant stops on the way to stay safe from the Choppers and take them out from a distance using the Insurgent's 50 cal, Heavy snipers or Lock-on rocket launchers.

This set-up is generally very straight forward, but constantly failed due to members of the team being overconfident and not keeping an eye on their armour and health. Make sure to re-apply armour whenever needed and keep the incoming choppers from reaching the Truck, since it will be wiped out in an instant.

Day 5: Bikes & FINALE

Day 5 and the Finale will be explored in the Pacific Standard Part 2, due to the character limit of this thread.
The Pacific Standard Job Part 2
Day 5: Bikes

In this mission your task will be to lay waste to The Lost MC clubhouse, steal four Lectro motorscycles and bring them back to a safehouse.

This is easily the most commonly restarted mission, due to inexperienced heisters taking on too much at once. A recommendation for this mission is an armored Kuruma and extra armour is a must. To read more about re-applying armour during missions visit the Preperations segment of this guide.

Make your way to the marker on your map and dispose of the biker gang members safely from inside a Kuruma. Next take the bikes and before setting off, recharge your armour via the pick-ups in the garage one of the bikes was held in. Make your way back to the safehouse as a group, assisting members if they crash and fall off the bike or get shot at by the appearing gang members.

While there is no safe way back to the safehouse, the best you can do is get there as fast as possible. Ignore and speed past enemies, while having the interaction menu open to re-apply armour whenever needed.

FINALE

Congratulations on making it this far. Your payday is just a step away.

Since the Kuruma method has been patched, the next safest option will be to escape via a Noose van or simply by the bikes.

To start off, grab a fast car and make your way to the Pacific Standard Vinewood. Once inside, knock out the guards by pressing R behind them and split into groups of two. The demolitionist and hacker make their way downstairs and bag the money.
A clever trick is to let either one of the team members in the basement bag all the money, since every time a person carrying the money is hit, a portion of the money is lost, and only one person carrying the money results in less money being lost.
To be able to escape via a Noose truck, kill a few hostages to make sure the Noose police force is triggered.

Once the money is collected, it's time for the escape. Meet up upstairs and let the cutscene play out. Next have the person carrying the money stay hidden inside, to ensure no money loss, and take out every police officer in front of the bank. Once everyone has been dealt with, make your way outside as a team and get everyone to activate the first checkpoint. Then have the person carrying the money (+ 1-2 other members to cover him) re-enter the bank and wait out the assault, until the escape vehicle arrives. It is crucial for everyone to activate the checkpoint right outside the bank, or the mission will automaticly fail.

Start making your way down the hill, activating every checkpoint as you go and re-applying armour when needed. The safest way of getting to the apartment is to not follow the open streets and rather move within the parking spaces and gardens of nearby houses. Keep in mind to activate every checkpoint as to not fail the mission.
Having made your way to the bikes, destroy them with an explosive to trigger an alternative escape route. Since the bikes were destroyed, you'll now spawn by the bikes next time you fail. Thanks to this, you can get to the bikes without losing any money, if one of your teammates commits suicide. Hop on the bikes and either make your way to the Canyon on them, or follow the road South-East of the bike location and steal the Noose truck parked in the middle of the road. This one will be unlocked. While driving to the Canyon make sure not to shoot at cops, to ensure they don't shoot at you.

You're now presented with two options, one safe and one fast.
1) To remain safe and ensure lesser money loss, follow each checkpoint on the mountain. Doing so will lose your wanted level and ensure that the get-away area is clear of hotiles.
2) If you're willing to lose a few bucks, skip the waypoints and head straight into the Canyon where the boat is located. Make sure to drive safe and not fall nor get knocked into the water prematurely. With this method, nearing the boat will not lose your wanted level and you'll have to exit the Kuruma and swim to the boat while getting shot at. This is nothing too dangerous and will be much faster than the previous option, but it's very probable that you will lose a bit of cash while escaping.

Heist complete!

THE KURUMA METHOD HAS RECENTLY BEEN PATCHED AND WILL NO LONGER WORK
I'll keep it in the guide in case it becomes available again some time in the future.
In this segment I will not be focusing on escaping via the bikes stolen in the last mission, but rather a Kuruma, pre-stashed in the 0604 Las Lagunas Boulevard apartment's garage.

To start off, grab a fast car and make your way to the Pacific Standard Vinewood. Once inside, knock out the guards by pressing R behind them and split into groups of two. The demolitionist and hacker make their way downstairs and bag the money, while the crowd control team keeps the civilians under control so they don't call in Noose.
A clever trick is to let either one of the team members in the basement bag all the money, since every time a person carrying the money is hit, a portion of the money is lost, and only one person carrying the money results in less money being lost. Another important thing for the crowd control team to keep in mind is to not shoot any of the hostages. Frightening the hostages is crucial to the mission, but killing even one hostage will ensure Noose being called, and thus possibly more money being lost.

Having made your way to the bikes, destroy them with an explosive to trigger an alternative escape route, and then quickly head to the 0604 Las Lagunas Boulevard apartment, before police forces surround you and stop you from entering. Enter the house from the front door and then move into the garage, where your Kuruma is stashed. Grab the vehicle and head back to the bank to pick up the rest of your group.

Before setting off for the Canyon, you will have to re-trace the steps you took when going to the apartment and trigger each checkpoint again for the rest of your team.
When given the green light, set off for the Canyon and while driving do not shoot at the police officers, to in return not get shot at as much.

good point about the insurgent, but keep in mind you can also upgrade the insurgent pickup to have heavy armor plating, hence making it really hard to hit anyone inside, and whoever is in the gunner
