Kibbles
Weight: 0.01
Type: Consumable
Spoils: 3 Days
Preserving Bin: 30 Days
Refrigerator: 300 Days
This pet food recipe has been carefully designed to give balanced nutrition to almost any creature native to the island. Includes plant fibers to help with digestion and egg to bind the mix.

ARK Logic:
  • Favorite kibble has higher affinity, allowing faster tame and better stats.
  • Each dinosaur has their own individual kibble that has the maximum effectiveness.
  • Using the wrong kibble will be less efficient than using the dino's regular food, and instead decrease the taming effectiveness.
  • The favorite kibble fills up 80 points of food, except for the Bronto that's 53.33.
  • Non-favorite kibble fills up 90 points of food and gives only 1/8 of the taming progress than the favorite kibble.

The order of effectiveness in food for taming dinos is:
  • NOTE Scorpions have a X2 speed for SPOILED MEAT and a 3/5 for Effectiveness.

  • Quick Note, these are all for level 120 perfect tames! :D

  • Do note that you should BRING EXTRA KIBBLE just incase the worst happens.

  • Another note, if the level is less than 120 take the level of it divided by 120 then multiply that number by the required perfect tame for your taming speed and always round up to find how much kibble you need

Everything except the actual kibble recipes section should still be valid. Kibble is now much, much, simpler than when this guide was written :)

You need a preserving bin, you then place cooked meat, spark powder and oil into it and let it go. Come back randomly and it will make you jerky. :)
You can also use prime meat to make prime jerky too.
