Description
Kyushu Class Frigate, FF-11 Suez

Rounding out the Union's second generation frigates is the Kyushu Class. Designed alongside the Crimea and Hebrides classes, the Kyushu was built to fill the middle ground between the other two ships. Therefore this ship able to participate in both ranged combat as well as perform close escort duties.

Since this ship does not sacrifice a large percentage of its power to a gravity cannon, nor does it devote a large portion of its interior volume to a hangar, its is able to boost it's capabilities in other ways. One way it does this is by carrying extra traditional weapons and ammunition. The additional space aboard the Kyushu class allows this vessel to carry a large ammount of missiles which require much less maintenance and cost far less to deploy than large torpedos.

Perhaps the most obvious use of the Kyushu's extra resources it the Long Range Combat Detection (LRCD) array which sits atop the primary hull. The LRCD allows the Kyushu to detect and positively identify targets thousands of kilometers away effectively making this ship the best patrol ship available to the Union as well as an ideal choice for long range search and rescue missions.

I really like those engine pods, you've inspired me to try something similar in my own designs, the sloping angle makes it look a lot more interesting

I came back a few days later and it worked fine. Don't know what it was. Thanks for taking a look at it though.

@zanew Looked into this and I can't seem to find a problem. Checked with another subscriber and a friend with the game and the ship downloaded and worked fine. Is it giving you an error when you subscribe or not showing up in your blueprints?

This doesnt seem to be downloading for me. All other workshop files are working so it might be on your end.
