Not an official River Works Interstellar product, the "Amazonian" is an unofficial refit of the Amazon-class Light Frieghter often seen in conflict zones.

Sporting the same redundent internal systems as its parent vessel, the Amazonian adds strategically placed armor plating and a pair of military-surplus gatling turrets for anti-missile defence.

While not quite as nimble as a stock Amazon-class, pilots of the Amazonian swear that the refit's added survivability under fire is worth its weight in rare metals.

**UPDATE**

With advances in technology over the past year, customs crews are now reporting that Amazonians used by various paramilitary or criminal organizations are now fitted with Jump Drives. Unconfirmed reports suggest a range of over 1500km when empty, posing significant issues for tarif patrols.
