[EU] Hebrides Class Frigate

The Hebrides Class Frigate was designed in the early 2070's to replace the aging Prague Class as the Union's leading light warship. Several upgrades were introduced in the new class including cryo chambers, gravity shields, increased cargo capacity and a gravity assisted torpedo bay.

These frigates round out the Union's light ship fleet by providing heavy fire power when other frigates fill more support roles. Currently the ships of this class are used for patroling the edges of Eridani space and escorting priority assets. Additional recreation space for crews and extensive cryo facilities help the Hebrides exceed in its long range duties.
