Handsome Jack - Hyperion Corporation

This mod adds in Handsome Jack, the villian in Borderlands 2 as a playable leader in civilization 5. And it makes him so he controls Pandora.

This mod features a lot of things, all borderlands 2 city names pretty much as his city names, unique unit being the GUN Loader, which is an Infantry replacement and it is basically a ranged unit instead of a melee unit. Being a loader I decided that I'm going to give him ignore terrain cost promotion.


Second being the unique building, which replaces the Observatory. A defensive bunker that can only be built on a mountain to make sense with the story. it is a mixture of a barracks and an Arsenal. Giving city defense and experience at the same time maintaining the 50% science boost coming from the original Observatory.

His unique ability is +2 Gold and +2 Science from strategic resources, and +2 Production from Engineer specialists, as it would fit him more.

It also adds featured music from Borderlands 2 to add the feel into the mod.

The AI is an expantionist and pretty much a psychopath, just like how Handsome Jack is in the game. He is a threat in most cases and very competitive for victory.

I decided to start simple with this mod, I've had a lot of really good ideas but they are sadly really complicated to be even used, as they require far more coding skills than what I have. But as time goes by I will include them inside here.

A small update fixing the Alpha part (when viewed as the AI). Should be more clear.

Complete Civilization Logo overhall, now it's Hyperion logo and it's more well made than before, you might see a bit of grey around it but that's due to the fact that it's white, I changed it to red and it's no longer there so I have no control over that what's so ever.

Complete UA Overhall and rename (Now +2 Science and +2 Production from strategic resources and +2 Production from Engineer Specialists, plus a proper rename to it. I did this because I felt like it was bland, I am still upgrading as I go
Added Jack to the civ wiki
Changed GUN Loader back to Archer so he gets proper promotions.
