Stranded

Description
A pirate crew marooned on a tropical island, your only thought is escape and getting home. Between the natural wildlife and other pirates, do you have what it takes to survive? Custom dice, custom game board and over 300 cards in this fight for your life adventure!

This is still a work in progress so all suggestions are appreciated.

RULES
You are the member of a pirate crew which became lost and marooned on a tropical island. Your objective is to gather the supplies necessary to create a raft and sail off the island while surviving the natural wildlife as well as each other.

How To Win:
You win the game by being the first player to escape the island by gathering 5 Pieces of Wood, 1 Lashing and 1 Paddle. The Pieces of Wood are found both on Land and in the Sea. The Lashing is found on Land only, the Paddle is found in the Sea only.

Game Start:
Everyone playing takes turns rolling the 12 sided dice, the highest number gest to go first and is the first one to be washed onto the shore of the island. Each player takes 1 Player Board, this will track your gathered materials as well as display armor and weapons you have equipped. Everyone also takes 1 Player Pawn to represent their Pirate and may place it anywhere along the coast of the island as long as it is at least 5 spaces away from another Player Pawn. The player who rolled highest places their Player Pawn wherever they like along the coast then continue clockwise around the table until all Player Pawns are along the coast. Deal out 10 Land Loot Cards to all players, this is what you were able to salvage from your pirate ship before it sunk.

Hand - At the beginning of the game all players are dealt 10 cards to equip themselves with what they were able to salvage from the wreckage. After that players may only have a maximum a 6 cards in their hand unless you are a Cooper which can carry 7, all extra cards must be discarded.

Attack Score - For Encounter cards this is equal to their level. So a Level 5 Encounter card would have an Attack Score of 5. For Players combine your level, plus any armor or weapons you have equipped to obtain your Attack Score.

Play:
Starting with the player who had the highest roll and continuing clockwise around the table at the beginning of your turn you must move 1 space in any direction. After you move roll the 6 sided Stranded dice. The Swords represent an Encounter, the Boots represent running and the Loot Bag represents Looting.

Encounter - If you roll the Swords draw 1 Encounter card. If you were on Land when you rolled draw a Land Encounter card, if you were in the sea draw a Sea Encounter Card. At the end of combat is the end of your turn.

Running - If you roll the Boots you are allowed to move 1 additional space on your turn and also roll the dice again.

Loot Bag - If you roll the Loot Bag immediately draw 1 Loot Card. If you were on Land when you rolled the Loot Bag draw 1 Land Loot card, if you were in the Sea when you rolled raw 1 Sea Loot card. This is the end of your turn.

Encounters:
To win the Encounter you must beat the enemy Attack Score, ties count as a loss. If you win the Encounter, you gain 1 Level and may take 1 Loot Card. If you fail you suffer the Consequences on the card. If there are no Consequences on the card, you are knocked unconscious and must discard your entire hand as well as go back to Level 1. You may choose to Run Away if you cannot defeat the Encounter by rolling the 12 sided dice. You must roll a 9 or higher to successfully Run Away. If you fail your Run Away you suffer the Consequences or are knocked unconscious.

Weapons/Armor:
You may only wear 1 piece of armor per slot. Example 1 helmet on the head only. Shield are considered weapons and are worn in your hand, only 1 shield may be used at a time however you may dual wield any other weapons in the game.

Player vs Player:
You can attack any Player on your turn who is within 1 space of your Player Pawn. The player with the higher Attack Score wins the fight, if there is a tie the players have come to a stalemate and neither player wins or loses. If you defeat the player in PvP you are allowed to take any 1 card from them you like. That can be from their hand or a card they have on their Player Board. Whether you win or lose this is the end of your turn.
