Sept. 17. 1944, Operation Market Garden is on. With the British XXX Corp. rolling up Highway 69, the Garden part of the operation is already experiencing one of the many first setbacks. German resistance is stronger than expected, despite the bombardment of the German 719th Infantry's positions around the Valkenswaard area. By the end of the first day, XXX Corp only made it to the town of Valkenswaard. This map is base on on the western side of Highway 69 near an area along the Dommel River. It is a 2v2 map with three victory points mixed in with heavy cover of farm communities and open fields. The river is fordable, so be alert and on your guard.
