XPAR Modular Energy

Description
XPAR Modular Energy

Let's be proud of our reactor rooms! Use these!

Nine modules perfect for creating exactly the power you need, in DX11 or DX9.

While these are balanced, they are not balanced the same as vanilla. Because I like large reactor rooms, these are substantially larger than vanilla reactors, but also substantially lighter. Combined with the new upgrade system, I think you'll find your reactor rooms are more beautiful while still remaining balanced.

Survival ready, LOD, construction, all work. Pretty low-poly, atlased to one texture.

Rebalanced after the 8/13/2015 vanilla reactor rebalanced. Now produces 3x as much as it used to (which should be slightly underpowered compared to vanilla).

Light Reactor:
These reactors weigh as much and produce as much as vanilla reactors, but they are twice the size. In that extra space, we stuffed two conveyor connectors and two upgrade slots!

Never lock yourself out of your small ship again by sealing off all your reactors! Trickle-charge your now-useful batteries!

Medium Reactor:
Mostly distinguished by having lots of conveyor connectors, the medium reactors are very flexible. On a small ship, this will run a large thruster. On a large ship, it'll run almost three large thrusters.

Heavy Reactor:
When you want loads of power, use this. It puts out half the power of a large vanilla reactor, but weighs substantially less.

Light Upgrade:
A sounding chamber allows 4 reactors to be boosted 25% each.

Medium Upgrade:
Advanced sensors optimize up to 2 reactors 33% each.

Heavy Upgrade:
A dedicated gravity control system boosts 1 reactor. 100% on small ships, 60% on large ones.

XPAR Battery:
A miniaturized version of the vanilla battery, this is actually effective and shouldn't be overlooked.

Capacitor:
Stores a small amount of power, but can pipe it super-fast. Perfect for serving those heavy forward engines.

Fuel Cell:
Stores a tremendous amount of power, but don't expect to get very much out of it.

If you would like to upgrade the models or textures, let me know, I'll send you the project files.

Bugfixing with Perko: Some people are having an issue with this mod when also using certain other mods, reportedly the Stargate mod. I can't replicate these issues, and there's nothing in the code that should cause it, so I have no idea. Sorry if it happens.

If your reactors vanished off of a dedicated server and you can't place new ones, that's because of a material cache issue. Thanks to Catte (http://steamproxy.net/id/ThatDamnCatte/) for helping me to solve this issue. You'll need to delete the mod off your system and it'll reload automatically:

Catte: It's simple enough. Most people should have access to the 'Mods' folder on their dedicated server, so all they need to do is remove 443961421.sbm and restart the server.
Catte: It's in the base spaceengineers folder so they don't have to do a whole lot of digging to find it.

This won't bring back the deleted blocks if you've saved since they were deleted.

This is a bug in dedicated server mod sharing related to changing materials. I'm really sorry about that. Good news is that you can now see status lights!

To anyone who is using the script from this mod please use the updated version from my version of this mod as it will prevent crashes when multiple mods are loaded using this script.
If any of the creators can please update this mod with the same script to minimize user backlash when trying to load this and any other based on its code
