Description
A remake of the map: "rp_townsend_v2", I made the map from scratch, only the dimensions (how long the streets are etc) are frome the original map.

if you want the vmf (original map file for editing): contact me, you get it then


I improved some buildings
- the church has now a walkable tower
- the hotel is fully builded
- the water is now a part of the map
- the most roofes are now a part of the map (ladders and stuff)

- a lot more



I add 5 secrets, can you find them?

aaaaaaand jump "events" jump events everywhere

Thank you for your response Lyzz,
When I say, I changed a lot of things on the map I mean installing a lot of addons (I expressed myself wrong.)
If you have no problem with reflections on water, it's because an addon that I use on my server creates this problem, that's for sure.
Can you provide me with the vmf of the map?
Tell me how I should contact you to get it.

the water looks fine by me. maybe you have a addon that changes the sky or plays with lightning?
but if you want to remove the water. you can do that by yourself. the server just have to overwrite the water texture with your own. like an invisible one

Or if you could make a version of the map without the water, I tell you that the reflections damage the eyes.
I made a lot of changes to your map and I don't want to have to start all over again, please help me.
The only place where the water is not a problem is where there is the lighthouse on the train rail side.
Anyway, I won't ask you anything after that, because I don't want to look like a spammer.

When I drive a vehicle (I drive in both directions looking at the water) in certain places, the water sparkles strongly

There are even certain places where I look at the water from the roof of a house and you see the reflection of the buildings on the water, even at height the reflections can be intense and have a mirror effect.

Yes, it looks similar in the screenshots, but it all depends on the angle you look at the water.
For example, when you look at the water from far or look at it from above, the reflections are not too disturbing.
But if you're on the ground or near the water, the reflections its instance it really depends on the angle and distance at which you're looking at the water.
And to finish this reflection is like a mirror effect, we can see buildings reflected on the water, it's really sparkling.

Please, can you remove the reflections on the water, it's eye-catching.
