Shezrie's Heljarchen Greenhouse

Description
This mod puts a greenhouse in the North Wing of Hearthfire's Heljarchen.

In using the Hearthfire homes I have always needed the bedrooms and therefore have never had the greenhouse. Well that is a very important room inaccessible. So I decided that I would create a greenhouse of my own in the North wing of the house. I never really found a great use for the North Wing rooms, especially not a room full of stuffed dead animals.

In using my own kitchen additions that add a kitchen to the misc back room behind the main hall. I found that a greenhouse would sit naturally behind my kitchen and it would all flow nicely, with the greenhouse being an extension of the kitchen.

So this modest mod is the result. A pretty greenhouse with plenty of growing room to help stock up your kitchen. It goes with my series of Hearthfire mods that are designed to give myself and people more choice and ability to create more unique Hearthfire homes.

27 dirt plots for planting.

I added small chests, ingredients jars, barrels and baskets for extra storage. Except for the jars they are not labeled as I am not quite sure what exactly I would store there. But they do make up in part for the loss of the full storage room.

Loads of new paintings of plants and some vegs.

It is all nicely laid out with plenty of room to move around and easy to see what is there.

You MUST have the Hearthfires DLC in order to use this mod.

Build the North Wing Trophy Room at your workbench. Then remove the workbench for that room at your planning table. You do not need to build any furniture, just the walls, roof, floor etc

When you enter your home you will find that room furnished already.

This file has been cleaned with TES5Edit.

Oaristys for the excellent Modders Resource alchemy jars.

Artisanix for all the painting frames used in this mod.

Yuril for the barrels.

Shezrie for the paintings (I used Artisanix's painting frames for these.)

Bethesda for the game, all the resources it contains and the Creation Kit.

This mod is to be hosted exclusively on Steam and no where else.

Thank you very much for this mode, it's great to have a garden in a place where else I will not use other buildings!

It is great! But, for God's sake, why the paintings are on the walls, that's a tragedy!

These images are not suitable for the concept of the game and Skyrim / Norwegian culture - If there were hanging prepared heads (I prefer bare walls) but pictures?

How many northern people are so enlightened to appreciate paintings? It's horror!

Those paintings on the walls make this fashion just ****** only ****, they are ugly and unsuitable!

Can you please make a way without images on the walls! I hate them!

Right, that is probably my problem, I built the Wrong room going on automatic and not reading you instructions, so sorry to have bothered you. Cannot wait to start new game and see what it looks like. Cheers. Will let you know I did it right :)

Thanks, yes this house uses the Trophy Room. The greenhouses are all different and I wanted something completely different for Heljarchen.

umm ok I'm confused. In your other two mods you use the storage room for your greenhouse.
giving an all round verandah . BUT in this one you change to the Trophy room ? I'm just checking here as it might be a simple misunderstanding with the change in building rooms thank you . and many thanks for your amazing work and generous nature

Not sure if this is helpful but I had the same problem with Windstad Manor. After seeing the reference to the Storage Room in Shezrie's last post, I tried building the storage room instead and the walls came back. I miss the higher ceilings and may try to fix it myself.

Hi Shezrie, Are you going to bring back your awesome tavern mods? My skyrim experience isn't complete without your mods.

Thanks Shezrie,

I will try your suggestion next time I start a new game.

Hi everyone sorry for the late reply. Please:

Make sure you have built the 'North Wing Trophy Room', everything except the furniture.

If you are absolutely certain that you have done that and the walls are still not there, then it is a glitch with Hearthfire itself, not caused by this mod.

I have been in the mod and in game and tried to duplicate this error some people are getting but am unable to. The walls of the 'Storage Room' are actually not touched by this mod at all, only the other walls are simply pulled down below room level. So this mod doesn't actually affect the walls that people are reporting are missing.

Right now I have posted on the Official Forums in an effort to see if anything can be done about this, as there is literally nothing I can do on my end of things. When I have more information I will report back here.

Hi Shezrie,

I am also having the issue of no walls in the Heljarchen home. The planters, paintings, hanging moss etc are there but I can see blue sky where the walls should be.

Greetings, Interesting that 'Keefus Maximus' has a query about the walls - I have your Lakeview so know what to expect - but in Heljarchen built the same - the walls are entirely missing, have the hanging paintings, plants etc, but no walls ! I can see the sides of the house but nothing else, I have not gone up to/through them, the room seems to work as normal but no walls it's a bit odd, just like a 'blue screen effect' for a total newb to explain.... just thought you should know.

Love the rooms, thanks for all the effort, one request I would make please, you have added lots of milk and flour, could you add heaps of butter too, I cannot find much in the game, and the churn only gives a couple, sorry to be picky again fantastic mods thank you
