Thanks for the tips Krimm! I'm going to release my golf flag set shortly.

Hope you find them handy to maybe add to your current set. They'll be "tree" models so they'll sway in the wind and what not. My last step is to see if I can make them plop all the same size instead of randomizing like a tree typically does in the game.


I hope to have at least 5-9 colored flags and if I can figure out how to auto generate colors I'll reduce it to maybe 2-3 types that can generate (automatically when plopped 1 of 4 colors).

Hey templeofdoom, thanks for the comment! I actually made the texture custom in Photoshop from scratch, and applied it to a custom model I made in Maya. I grabbed a texture of grass off of Google, and just used a dark and light brush to simulate the lawnmower lines!

Hey Krimm - nice assets. How did you manage to get the texture for the grass in the model? DId you custom make that? How did you get the coloring & the "lawnmower" lines?
