But honestly im not saying anything bad about them because they are relatively good. Just wanted to change them to other trees >_<
But to back to your idea. Yes a little check on them would be not bad. :P
A workaround could be that u subscribe to the tree again. Which should make the game happy.
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at TreeManager.SampleSmoothHeight (Vector3 worldPos) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
at CameraController.CalculateCameraHeightOffset (Vector3 worldPos, Single distance) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
at CameraController.UpdateTransform () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
at CameraController.LateUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
It should not do that though. It should just remove the tree from ur world. Which is what happened to me when I tried it. Are u maybe doing it while the game is running? Not even sure that would do any harm.
Sorry that I can't help u better. If it's a big problem for u, please be more descriptive of what has happened, and how u did it.
