Black Scorpion Stinger: Tark's sword is now gifted to you by the Man-Scorpion himself after you defeat The Duke's Dear Freja. (Remember you must have the Ring of Whispers to speak to him.)

Black Witch Staff: "Black Witch Stuff can be found in a mimic in Aldia's keep now. You have to get aldia's key , and pull the lever in the room closed by that key. That will release all monsters in the hall and you can get that stuff from the wooden mimic chest." -Majin

Chaos Rapier: Majin has discovered that Felkin now sells the Chaos Rapier, along with the Chaos Shield in Huntsman's Corpse.

Dragon's Tooth: Havel's weapon of choice can now be found in Belfry Luna in the area beneath the bonfire with the killer dogs and NPC invader.

Grand Lance: The Grand Lance can now be found much earlier in the game, near the King's Door in the Forest of Fallen Giants and can be acquired after killing the Last Giant. I strongly suggest you try it if you are a new player or if its obscure location in the base game prevented you from doing so earlier. It is a great weapon.

Forlorn Weapons (Greatsword & Scythe): Forlorn Set: The Forlorn Set can be acquired from Straid. One set is avaliable for sale per every time you kill the bastard. Thus, you must kill him six times to get all his stuff including his armor. (Credit goes to Majin for this.)
NOTE: Some people report the weapons not showing up even after killing the Forlorn six times. That said, the Forlorn weapons suck anyway, so I wouldn't tear my hair out. Majin suggests that perhaps some people were counting torch summonings from Aldia's keep, which do not count. If so, then keep in mind that it must be a "suprise invasion" to add to the kill count for Straid.

Heide Knight Sword: The Heide Knight Sword must now be farmed from the Heide Knights in Heide's Tower of Flame. Should you wish to acquire this weapon quickly, then you could use the coin found in Majula for a temporary luck boost which should stack with the item-discovery enchancing shield found later in the level.

Heide Knight Spear: The Heide Knight Spear is acquired from the Heide Knight in a cell in Sinner's Rise.

Heide Knight Lance/Greatlance: The Heide Knight Lance/Greatlance must now be acquired in the upper Gutter from a Heide Knight there. Apparently he could drop either one for whatever reason. (Credit goes to Allrond for this.)

Staff of Wisdom: Yorrik says the Staff of Wisdom can now be found in Tseldora's Royal Army Camp where the Dark Leggings are.


Washing Pole: "One can be found in the poison gas pit after the Mines bonfire in Harvest Valley, the pit which is outside of the building housing the Covetous Demon.

The other is located in Drangleic Castle. After the room where the Old Knight Hammer is located, the wooden chest upstairs (which is actually a mimic) drops a Washing Pole and Petrified Something." -Reliant 213

Work Hook: "The Work Hook has been moved to the mimic with the dark gauntlets (same location as before)" -Marchialli

Zweihander: The Bass Cannon actually isn't terribly far from where it once was. In the Iron Keep, make the jump to the ledge where there's a skeleton holding a Petrified Dragon Bone. (Where the Dull Ember used to be in the old version of the game, IIRC.) From there, climb up a ladder and you'll find the Zweihander.

Bracing Knuckle Ring: "...The Bracing Knuckle Ring (+0) can be found on the same ledge where you can jump to the smaller ledge where the Golden Wing Shield is located in the Lost Bastille." -Reliant 213

Gower's Ring of Protection: Allrond the Abysswalker has found that Gower's Ring of Protection is now in Drangleic Castle after the chest with Soul Greatsword and is avaliable in NG right off the bat. Unfortunately, there's an Executioner Chariot there as well for some odd reason.

Ring of Binding: The Ring of Binding can now be found in Heide's Tower of Flame in the chest shortly before fighting the Dragonrider.

Blossom Kite Shield: The Blossom Kite Shield can now be found in Sinner's Rise near the Lost Sinner boss fight. (I forget the exact location.) Worthless as a shield itself but offers stanima regen.

Chaos Shield: Majin has discovered Felkin now sells the Chaos Shield in Huntsman's Corpse.

Watchdragon Parma: The Watchdragon Parma can now be found in Heide's Tower of Flame after killing Puff the Magic Dragon. Puff's drop rate may not be 100%. Notably, this shield now also boosts item discovery.

Aurous Set (Visible): The Visible Aurous Set can now be found in the upper Gutter near a Heide Knight which drops the Heide Mask. Thanks to Maijin for pointing this out!

Black Witch Set: Lum and I think a few other people have pointed out that the Black Witch set can be farmed from the invader in the Gutter who strikes when you light all the torches.

Dark Chest Piece: Maijin has discovered that the Dark Chest Piece is located in a Mimic under a ledge in the Gutter immediately after you find the Ring of Soul Protection.

Dark Leggings: Snow SOS informs me that the Dark Leggings can be found in Brightcove Tseldora (or however you spell it,) underneath the well by the first bonfire.

Falconer's Set: The Falconer's Set can now be farmed in Brightstone Cove Tesoldora in the Royal Army Camp as Falconer Knights have replaced most of the Peasants there.

Forlorn Set: The Forlorn Set can be acquired from Straid. One set is avaliable for sale per every time you kill the bastard. Thus, you must kill him six times to get all his stuff including his weapons. (Credit goes to Majin for this.)

Heide Armor: Lunnor reminds me that the Heide Armor can be farmed from Heide Knights in Heide's Tower of Flame.

Heide Mask: Ornstein the Dragonslayer says he's certain the Heide Knight near the Auros Set in the Gutter drops this 100% of the time. I'll take his word for it.

Insolent Set: "...to get the insolent set you need to light the main light source in the undead crypt (below that "bridge" you get down when you pull the lever, watchout for the double greatshield guy down there) it will spawn red phantoms that drop insolent armor and other useful items like twinkling titanite, they can be a bit of a pain since they use hexes like dark orbs and miracles like lightning spear and they use maces. "-BloodKing

Iron Mask: Dropped by the Heide Knight in the upper Gutter. (Confirmed by multiple people.)

Llewellyn Set: Avaliable from the ghost vendor Chancellor Wellanger after defeating the Giant Lord. (Credit goes to Yorrik for this.)

Royal Soldier's Set: The Royal Soldier's Set can now be farmed as early as the Forest of Fallen Giants as Royal Soldiers are now encountered there.

Vengarl's Set (Sans Helm): Vengaral's murderous headless corpse, and thus all of his armor save his helmet, is now located in the Shaded Woods shortly after meeting Manscorpion Tark.

Warlock Mask: "The helmet can be found in the Shaded Ruins. From the bonfire, head straight until you reach the large barrels. Behind them is a Lion Warrior with a golden mane standing next to a petrified Lion Warrior. Un-pertifying him and killing him should reward you with the helmet." -Reliant 213

Bastille Key: "It might be worth mentioning that the Bastille Key is no longer in the Belfry, it's sitting outside near the Servant Quarters bonfire. So don't have to risk getting gangraped by bellboys to get it anymore." -Lambchopz

Dull Ember: To quote the Color Green directly: "The dull ember is now in the bastille at the bonfire you get to from going in the bird's nest after the pursuer boss fight in forest of the fallen giants. There are two chests at the bonfire, one of them has 2 effigies and the other has the dull ember."

Titanite: Titanite can now be found in the following new locations:
-The Titanite Bug in the Forest of Fallen Giants is now located up the stairs near where you first meet the merchant Hag Melentia.
-The Pursuer drops Twinkling Titanite when killed after being encountered in the Lost Bastille.

Petrified Dragon Bone: Petrified Dragon Bones can now be found in the following new locations:
-In Heide's Tower of Flame after killing Puff the Magic Dragon.
