May be that the river is not deep enough? The large capacity of the pump tends to empty the small rivers quickly.

I think the maintenance cost is far too high.
Comparing it to other pumps it is quite a bad deal to use your asset.

Having issues with the pumps coming on and offline intermittently, while fully connected to the water grid?
