Darkmayr's Faster Horses

Description
A very simple mod. Doubles the speed of horses. Also, makes all of them essential, so that they don't get eaten by dragons quite as often.

The file is named DarkmayrsSpeedyShadowmere.esp . Originally I was only going to speed him, but then I remembered some scrubs actually killed the Dark Brotherhood and might still want a cool horse.

Obviously, at low levels the essential horses may be a teense overpowered, because they CAN damage enemies (though it's pretty minimal at even mid-levels) and will never die.

I didn't do this to Arvak because I wanted to keep this mod vanilla-friendly. If you want a version that also speeds Arvak, comment and I'll make one.

KNOWN ISSUE:
- When starting at Helgen, the horse on the cart is sped up as well, but scripted to move for a certain time. Thus, the cart you're in gets stuck in a bad spot. I am no longer working on fixing this; with the way I made this mod, it is impossible, and I don't have time to learn advanced mod-making.

Workarounds for the above issue:
1) Disable the mod each time you start a new game, until the opening sequence is complete.
2) Use an alternate start mod to skip the Helgen sequence (This is what I do).

NOTE:
This mod was made by editing one data value in each of the base horse NPCs. It will conflict with any other mod that directly alters these values. I am not some sort of master modder; I'm not even a good modder, I just wanted to do this and get it out there. I'm glad to see that you guys all enjoy it.

To solve mod conflicts, put the mod which you prefer to be most effective at the bottom of your load order. To make sure my mod should applly most effectively to your game, put it at the bottom of your load order. Because of the simplicity of the mod, this should cause no issues. My mod should, however, be put above mods like Alternate Start - Live Another Life which don't run unless they're at the bottom of the load order.

Yes, it should work for every horse in the game, even the ones you buy.

@MrZuribacjI: Just because something can be done with other mods doesn't mean it can be done with mine. Even if it can, I can't do it; I'm a player more than a modder and my modding skills are, frankly, abysmal. If I had infinite time and resources, would I learn to mod better so I could do that? Absolutely. But unfortunately, I do not have infinite anything.

Couldn't you just apply the feature of sped up horses to work after completing the quest "Unbound" (which is escaping Helgen)? I've seen quite a few mods that only apply after a certain quest is completed (aka after you reached a specific "stage"), like a mod that allows you to craft the Nightingale Armour (as that requires the quest "Trinity restored" to be completed)

I suspect just bad luck on my part, mods never seem to work just as I planned without some mucking around. I tried The Essential Horses too and had same result.
