Description
This is the level known as Tree Tops from the game Spyro the Dragon. It is widely regarded as the most challenging level from the first three Spyro games. But for some reason, it's one of my favorites.

Brief Summary
- It's a map for Garry's Mod that has 2 main areas: The level and a dark room with a portal to the level.
- The filename is "gm_treetops".
- Torches and fires from the original level are not there, meaning the level is darker.
- It is a prop as well. You can spawn both the entire level, and a portal anywhere.
- It has partial collision. Only walkable areas and some walls have collision.

Additional Information
Now you can play on the Tree Tops level in Garry's Mod! The level was ripped straight from my scratched old disk (see the Special Thanks at the bottom to know how). I touched it up in Blender, and manually created the collision mesh.
I was not able to get the models for things like torches. That's why the level is only lit by the bright moon, I didn't want to start adding Half-Life 2 assets into a Spyro level (or struggle with reproducing the lighting of the original game).
The skybox might have seams in places due to the way I created it. It was hard to make a skybox for the map out of the skydome (which is what the Spyro game uses).
The map consists of two areas. One is the level itself, and onother is a dark room with a portal from the Beast Makers homeworld, which leads you to the level. There are spawn points in each, so you could spawn in either area.
Anyway, I'm really happy to be able to bring this wonderful level to Garry's Mod, and I'm surprised I got it work!

Special Thanks
I have to thank Kly_Men_COmpany for creating the glorious tool; SpyroWorld Viewer. Without it, I would never have been able to extract the level and textures from my game.

ah, after a while I've discovered a plugin for ePSXe called SpyroEdit which allows you to export the skyboxes as .sky formats, then using another program called "Spyro Skybox Editor" you can convert them in various formats, including panorama and cubemap pngs.

There's no cubemap export, unfortunately. I just took 6 screenshots in the Spyro World Viewer and lined them up to make a cubemap. :)

how'd you extracted the skybox textures? I know those are saved as objects and stuff, but I'm going nuts trying to find a way to extract those as cubemaps png
