My Parent's House L1 2x3

Description
Custom house modelled after the house I grew up in. Probably the first 3D model I've ever completed from scratch. Modelled initially in SketchUp and imported into Blender for tweaks and texturing.

Fits low density residential 2x3 or 2x4 spaces.

Great house. I hope you don't mind, I added to your model a bit by adding over 60 variable props that change each time the asset grows to add more variety. I of course gave you credit for the original design. If this is a problem, just let me know and I'll remove my version from the Workshop.

neil5280 - I followed a tutorial about using Blender to create models, but I find SketchUp much easier to work in, so I tried that to build the model, then used Blender to finish it off. You can read my reddit post for a bit more detail and link to the tutorial.

I'd love to know if you were following a tutorial. I've been wondering if SketchUp would suffice, and now I'm intrigued.

I really like this house; the porch light makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Nice house, it blends in just perfectly between the standard homes from CS
