Arrowhead Cruiser

Description
This is a medium-heavy class Cruiser designed to deal massive amounts of damage to large ships and stations.

It is best used in a fleet with carriers and other ships since it will need support from smaller fighters. The slim design leaves only 2 angles for effective/easy attack: top and bottom. Because it is very large and rather slow it features a "mass drive", which uses artificial mass and gravity generators for forward speed. Since the turret cannons have a very slow fire rate and there are no gatling or missile turrets the cruiser is very vulnerable to small, fast fighters. This is why it comes with its own hangar. The Hangar can hold up to 6 fighters, depending on their size. Battleships don't usually have refineries etc, however in the event of the cruiser being separated from the main fleet it will be able to survive on it's own for a bit since it comes with a few refineries, arc furnaces and assemblers. The ship is completely pressurized and uses several airlocks. It uses a connector on a piston for refueling. Everything is fully conveyored, so it could theoretically be used in survival.

It also comes equipped with several crew quarters, private rooms for the pilots and a massive suite for the captain. Recreational and fitness rooms are found on the higher levels of the ship. There is a mess hall with a kitchen for food, several restrooms and even a briefing room. It has a control room overlooking the hangar. The ship has 2 bridges, one with windows for more aesthetic purposes and another, more secure command center that should be relatively safe from exterior attacks. The command center is also where the turrets are manned, as they use remote controls.

The private quarters also come with their own storage containers that are not included in the conveyor system. That way you can store personal items without them being taken by someone else.
I had to isolate the main thrusters, as they were realeasing oxygen into space but I included an airlock to view and, if necessary, repair them. That way you won't even have to leave the ship and repair it from the outside.
Similarly, All turrets can be accessed from the inside through oxygen securing airlocks. This allows you to repair your turrets from a relatively safe angle should they be damaged.
The reactors and refining systems are all found in the rear by the main thrusters, so be sure they stay safe. In the event that the main reactors are taken out, I've included 4 additional emergency reactors in the center of the ship to keep doors and oxygen operational while you do repairs/evacuate. These are small however and will not be able to power thrusters on their own!

Almost everything has been mirrored so most parts can be found twice. Since it is very easy to get lost on the ship I included signs indicating the level you are currently on, lowest level being 1 and highest being 5.

Setup for turret control (inside the command center):
First cockpit on the left - bottom left turret
Second on the left - top left turret
Left cockpit (facing forward) - serves as an extra cockpit for the captain
Right cockpit (facing forward) - Main turret
First cockpit on the right - botton right turret
Second on the right - top left turret

Button selection on the main cockpit:
1 - Open ramp
2 - Open hangar doors (This can also be done in the Control Room)
3 - Extend refueling piston
4 - Turn refueling connector on/off (to prevent pirates from docking and controlling the ship)
5 - Extend landing gear
6 - Change lock (landing gear)
7 - Mass drive
8 - Turn interior turrets on/off (in event of a breach)
9 - Turn all doors on/off (in event of a breach or loss of air pressure)

A fully manned ship would house about 9-14 men: 1 Captain to maneuver the ship, 5 Gunners to man the turrets, 2-6 pilots to man the fighters and 1-2 engineers to make repairs.

Should you find a platform large enough to fit the cruiser, feel free to land it there! It comes with extendable landing gear and features a ramp that has been adjusted to the reach of the landing gear so no need to worry about damaging the ship or the platform. I wouldn't open the hangar or refueling piston when landing however, as those might exceed that distance.

Many things on this ship are included for aesthetic reasons only (like crew quarters and fitness room), but I think it puts a nice touch on it.

The turrets featured on the cruiser can be found here:

I had to redesign it a little bit for the top turret so it would be symmetrical

I also filled the hangar with 6 fighters to demonstrate its capacities. You'll also find 2 different designs: one is the "Vipera" by Koenigscobra, the other is a fighter that I designed myself.

In that regard, no. I started with building smaller 1-2 person ships in the shape of an arrowhead. I found myself liking the basic idea and began working on a much bigger design. That's where this here came from. Also: the bridge is meant to be on the outside, as you can read in the description the top bridge is mainly meant for aesthetics. In an actual survival scenario it would make more sense to use the secondary cockpit in the command center. But in that case you wouldn't need the crew quarters etc either.

I love Star Wars and I do take a few elements of the Star Wars ships and include them into my design. Also as you can see inside the hangar, I built a replica of the Jedi Starfighter. So yes, a lot of my inspiration comes from Star Wars. Did you ask because of the fighters or was it something else?

What color values did you use for the exterior of the ship? I'm making small modifications and I want them to blend in a little better.
