O.S.C. Capella-Class Heavy Frigate

Recent invasions into Confederate-controlled space have necessitated the creation of a new heavy assault vessel. The Capella Heavy Frigate is the answer to this need. Lighter and faster than any cruiser in the fleet, the Capella operates in combat primarily through broadsiding enemy ships. With multiple heavy turrets on either side, as well as a large missile cannon on the bottom, the frigate is a force to be reconned with. The frigate's most important trait however is its large capacity of flak turrets, which tear through incoming missiles and strike craft. Its light armor makes it unsuitable for direct attacks against large enemy ships, giving it a role as a heavy escort for larger capital ships. It is also equipped with a standard jumo drive and a new O2 system.

As with every other ship in the fleet, this vessel is un-modded and survival ready.
