Compact Elevated Interchange

Tightly-compacted elevated highway interchange for dense urban environments.

- Takes up very little land area.
- Elevated design allows roads to pass underneath.
- Gradual turns prevent light traffic from slowing down.
- Low slopes ease placement on uneven terrain.
- Long ramps allow traffic lines without backing up the highway.
- Ramps can be lengthened or upgraded to two-lane roads for increased capacity and queue size.

I based the unusual "highway on top" design from the intersection of Highways 75 & 190 near Dallas, Texas.
