Malfunction Junction

Description
A highway junction designed to mechanically simulate the I-26/I-40/I-240 interchange in Asheville, North Carolina, United States of America. Chances are you won't find it of any use.

Believe it or not, the real Malfunction Junction is worse. In the real interchange, westbound I-240 does not connect to eastbound I-40 directly. Instead, anyone wanting to travel from I-240 West to I-40 East must travel on SR-191/Brevard Road through the Brevard Road auto mall, or take US-25/Merrimon Ave./Biltmore Ave. straight through Downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village to the US-25/I-40 interchange. This results in increased traffic throughout the Asheville area.

Ive never seen anything in this workshop more appropriately named.

Sometimes to get from Tennessee to Charlotte NC I will take the I40/81 split up to Virginia just to avoid the traffic at this junction. Sounds extreme, but you'd understand if you have ever had the thrilling experience of this parking lot.

Thank you for this asset!

Holy crap I was just thinking someone should design this and searched for it and found it. This is my daily commute (Mars Hill to Fletcher) every day.

I see you did the Patton Ave interchange as well. That part is worse for me...merge left across 3-4 lanes of traffic to stay on the interstate you are already on makes perfect sense. :)

Now my sims will have to endure this interchange bwahahahaha.

Thanks!

Ah, my daily nightmare now appears in my new favorite game.

Asheville, NC's slogan: Randomly changing roads and making traffic terrible since time immemorial. Asheville native here, I love your local-flavored mods.

Now I want an Asheville/WNC map in the game.
