Description
This mod is for the Mormon civilization of Deseret as led by Brigham Young during the year 1848. Capital is Salt Lake City.

UA: Latter-Day Saints- Missionaries do not suffer from Attrition. 10% bonus to Faith based on total amount of land Deseret controls whenever a Religion it founded gets another Follower.

UU: Nauvoo Legion- Replaces Rifleman. +2 Culture per turn when Garrisoned. When starting its turn on the same tile as a Settler, both the Nauvoo Legion and the Settler receive +2 Movement.

UB: Bishop's Storehouse- Replaces Windmill. Does not require Flat terrain. No Engineer Slot. Aside from standard Windmill abilities the Bishop's Storehouse also provides +2 Food and +2 Happiness.

Deseret was a proposed state by Brigham Young and his Mormon followers and pioneers in the western frontier of North America during the mid-1800's. Primarily encompassing Utah, but also stretching into neighboring states, the grandiose territory of Deseret was headquartered in Salt Lake City. To this day, Salt Lake City is the seat of the Church of the Latter-Day Saints, and Brigham Young's legacy thrives there through various civic, religious and academic institutions.

This mod excels through acquiring faith and spreading religion. It succeeds under a wide game, and has some use for the piety branch, particularly when acquiring a Reformation belief. They fare well following a domination or cultural victory.

Compatible with YnAEMP's True Start Locations, Cultural Diversity mod, and Historical Christian Religions.

Special thanks to RawSasquatch for the Leader, Map, Building and Unit Icon Art.

Thanks Tyrannosaurus_Tux. I've fixed that now.

Nauvoo Legions don't work. It seems your intention was to replace riflemen with this unit, but it instead, by a fluke of code, replaces musketmen. You can't build them, seeing as they're not available until Rifling, which means you can build only Musketmen, but when you do research Rifling, you only can make Riflemen. Please fix.

Yup. For what it's worth, one of the decisions for Deseret will be to construct a unique cannon named Old Sow during a time of war in the Industrial era.
