Description
A race track by AIS Racing.

The "Skeleton Run" consists of a tightly packed asteroid fossil through which you will have to race at extreme speeds. Use your cornering skills or pure racing luck to throw yourself through the mysterious asteroid formations.

This is v1.0

Buttons to control the locking mechanism can be found in the main stadium (two elevators up). The second button will activate the countdown that also automatically releases the locks on the racers. To turn the lock back on use the first button.

Tips & hints:
- Don't max-thrust through the whole track, while it is possible it is hard to do consistently and releasing the throttle now and then will ensure you don't crash too often.

- Use first person view.

- Steer into bends. Aim the crosshair into the corner-walls. If you feel you are drifting to far into a corner, steer back out again but never so much that you start coming out of your drift.

- Allow the inertia dampeners to make use of the all thrusters on the racers. The MK 2 has fewer thrusters but more power and is also lighter than the MK 1 racers of my previous track.
Use the Q and E buttons to get the optimal rotation for the maneuvering thrusters.

Mods Used:
- Armor Ramps
- Armor Thrusters
- Azimuth Cockpit
- Elevator Button + Catwalks
- Interior Lights [Dol SEI]
- S - Thruster 3

Racers have artificial mass blocks and headlights, both are totally fair to use but be ware that turning the AF mass block off may result in some parts of the track being more difficult and the headlights will drop your frames as I am sure you are all aware.
This brings us to:

Known issues: The track can be pretty laggy in certain areas. It is recommended you turn your graphical settings to normal when racing. Note that performance will vary based on how good your computer is. Hopefully in future updates KSH will optimize their lighting and station parts better.

Will I make a more FPS friendly version like with my other track? Not so sure that would really help in this case.

SADLY THIS WORLD APPEARS CORRUPTED AFTER MANY YEARS OF UPDATES... IF ANYONE HAS AN UPDATED VERSION OF THIS WORLD ANYWHERE SAVED ON THEIR COMPUTER, PLEASE DO CONTACT ME =)

Hey, this world works, just a heads up. Your cockpit mod is just missing from the workshop. Removing the missing mod let me load the world just fine.

Maybe it is just the bad framerate that i get that causes this to feel this way. After watching the video.

Great Track, I feel that the racers should only have one gyro scope or two at the most. 3 is too many, steering is too sensitive. It makes the racing very jerky feeling and you frequently have to stop and readjust your heading before continuing
