the new Shield,now it can work without patch.

v1.4 balance
v1.3 new Shield,not must path
v1.3 Performance optimization
v1.2 update to 1.074 game, and use the energy to resist damage.

I am looking for a shield to put on my ships because everytime I go fiht pirates I get shot out of the sky immediately and I want to know if this is the right choice for that

And what expansion (in blocks) has your shield? Can it protect from asteroid-caused damage during jump-drive operation* That key information is totally missing here.
