Rotor Part Gatling Turret

A large ship part with large ship blocks useful on a small ship meant to be attached by a small ship with a rotor.

The small ship can be built in Grey factories and some large ship parts including this can be built in the 'Grey rotor part factory' (blueprints can be found in my collection 'Blueprints for Grey factories and holo satellites'). After the small ships small rotor part has been detached it can move into position and attach to a large rotor part (later detaching and attaching is possible).

Building a rotor part attached directly to a turret can't be done in a factory since the projector block needs to be on the same grid as the projection for the projection to be built and both the turret and rotor part has only one connectable surface. Therefore the large ship parts seen in the grey small/large turret ships needs to be built manually but for a defense satellite with a missile or gatling turret a small cargo container or small reactor can be added between the rotor part and the turret so as to make the blueprint factory buildable and allow the turret to be loaded during production as well as adding the benefit of extra cargo space or another power source.

This large ship part can be used as a defense satellite attached to a 'Grey gatling turret drone' with a solar panel so that power never runs out but is still fully operational if the small ship part is destroyed or dethatched which adds durability in combat situations. The large ship part can also be towed to a specific location by a ship with a rotor and left there to function a portable defense satellite without the need of large and buggy (on multiplayer servers) landing gears.
