English description

As mentioned before, USEA company desided to develope new markets. It's first ship's was a carier/station-based fighters; now due to last global events, it started to offer much wider range of specializations.
Util recently the last project of USEA was Mitty - a small one-man exploration ship. After recieving a lot of positivу comments (and selling many units) company desided to continue it's experiments in this booming market of deep space exploration. It's next project was a two small carrier/station-based engineering smallships - Molly and Arthur.
First thing that you'll notise is the absence of the usual "plane-shaped" form which was a main feature of all previos USEA ships. Well, it was quite obviouse desigion - it's hard to imagine a situation when you'll need to repeir or build something in the atmosphere (or either mine some ore). Company desided to use quite common solution - it made a combination of welding and grinding ship by placing both instruments on the different sides of the rotating "arm". Unlike the other manufacturers USEA put a lot more effort in this - they carefully balanced all centres of mass to prevent heeling on the strafes. Unfortunately despite all their effort you'll still notice this effect from time to time.
Molly, the engineering ship, hsd to modifyed short-range welders, two additional long-range lazer welders and one extra one on the top on the ship for fixing mistakes while grinding without need to switch to the welding position. Unfortunately USEA had to use usual grinders instead of modifyed ones because of the extremely big range of latter - that's also why grinders were putted on the pistons - otherwise they'll simply not reach the end nose of the ship.
Arthur is a mining ship. It has almost the same body as a Molly but with little changes - for example it doesn't have rotors since it doesn't need it, and absence of extra welder on the top which left some space for ore detectors and powerfull beacon. As a fancy addition Arthur has two mini-drills in the place of the Molly's lazer welders - it uses it to expand free space around the ship while mining.
As previous ships of USEA, who positions itself as an eco-friendly company, this ships powers up using lot of energy cells mounted in the ship's hull but still has one emergency reactor. In addition to reactor Molly and Arthur has a set of solar panels on the bottom side.

love the look of these ships, what are the drills being used on arthur though, I have a mining rig i'm throwing together, and individual drills like that would be awesome!

Managed to modify Arthur to the point where he's awesomely useable. Complete thruster overhaul, power management overhaul, and mining system overhaul. Had to remove the pistons though. Consequently the side arms are slightly longer, but she flies beautifully, and can tunnel without wrecking the cockpit. I'll post to the workshop if you give permission :)

Hrm....Arthur seems to have other troubles than just balance...tried mining a bit with him and it didn't turn out very well for him. Extended the pistons, and cranked on the drills, approached the wall at .2m/s and lost the cockpit every time. Not sure why, the drill should be more than adequate for this, but for some reason the cockpit keeps coming off. I'll tinker ;)

Hi guys! Thank you for all your comments. I'll add mod list today.
And about balance - it's always a big dilema about using pistons (and making interesting designs and tools) and making more stable crafts without them=(
I did my best trying to match drill's center of mass with ship one but it's still not stable=(
