Blacksmith's Basement - All DLC edition

Description
******************* UPDATE - 11/11/2016 *********************
This mod has now been released for the special edition, under the name "Adventurer's Basement"

https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/skyrim/mod-detail/3072307

The new version includes the addition of a kitchen, an alchemy lab, and a hearthstone supplies room.
*********************************************************************

Adds a linked, functional basement to Vanilla and Dragonborn player houses that automatically sorts and stacks crafting material as PHYSICAL ITEMS on shelves.

IMPORTANT - This version of this mod requires all 3 Skyrim DLC to operate (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn). Attempting to use the mod without these DLC will cause a game crash. For the non DLC version of this mod, please click here - http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=387689664

Description
=========

Blacksmith's Basement adds a linked basement to each of the Vanilla, Hearthfire and Dragonborn player houses. The primary purpose of this basement is to automatically sort all crafting materials in the players inventory and display them throughout the room as individual physical items. The basement also contains the full suite of crafting, improving and enchanting appliances.

The basement is either automatically added upon the acquisition of a player house (Whiterun and Solstheim), or purchasable as a house decoration from the steward of the applicable town (Riften, Markarth, Windhelm and Solitude). The basement is also automatically added to the outdoors area of each Hearthfire house, and can be moved indoors or disabled via the Drafting Table at each site. The basement can also be added to custom mod houses via the use of a spell. While the same singular basement is accessible from any of these locations, the exit ladder will return the player to the same house they entered from. This mod can therefore not be used for teleportation.

The basement's sorting system handles all items used in the crafting or improvement of any weapon or armor in Skyrim or its DLC. This includes Soul Gems and materials used in the creation of Jewellery.

Future BHM House Mods
====================

Due to limitations imposed by Steam's workshop, I have decided to reorganise the way in which this mod series will be released. The series will now be a set of 2 mods, and the modular aspect that I intended to include will be provided for within the game itself.

The first will be this mod (Blacksmith's Basement), and it will eventually include -
- The crafting supplies room already available in the mod.
- An ingredients supply/stocking room, available in the same basement;
- A cooking supply/stocking room, available in the same basement;
- A hearthfire building supplies room, available in the same basement.
This mod will likely be renamed upon the release of more of the above features. (Most likely to 'Crafter's Basement' or something similar)

The second mod will be a collection and display mod. This mod will alter the player houses rather than creating a separate room (like the basement does). I intend to release this mod within the next 2 weeks. The mod will include -
-The Scholar's Library - A set of book shelves that automatically maintains a collection of 1 of each world book that the player brings home. These shelves are linked between the player houses. (This feature is 90% completed and will be available on release).
- Mask/Claw/Insect Jar display shelves - These shelves will be linked between player houses. (This feature is 50% completed).
Treasure Hunter's Map - A world map that automatically stores the treasure maps in a players inventory, while providing clues as to the general location of each treasure. As above, this map will be linked between player houses.

I would eventually love to tackle daedric artifacts, weapons and armor, however such a project would require skills outside of my immediate skillset (A Modelling/Texture artist), and as such I am reluctant to commit to anything.

Support & Donations
================

Developing this mod series is a lengthy and time-consuming process, made more difficult due to my full time studies. Should anyone wish to provide me with financial support, any assistance is greatly appreciated. Donations can be made via the nexus using the following link (donate button in the top right) - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/62303/?.

Should anyone wish to provide more general support, rating the mod here, or endorsing the mod at the nexus (using the above link) is always of great help.

Hi, I love this! Is it possible to have your Scholar's Library mod and the Adventurers basement mod work at the same time on Skyrim Special Edition?

@jesseodell1 - Thanks very much. So the ingredient sorting, as well as food and hearthfire building supplies WERE added in the skyrim special edition mod "Adventurer's Basement". Im afraid I never got the chance to bring those updates back to the normal version of the game however :-(

Did the plan to add ingredient sorting fall through? This is the single feature I've yet to find well fleshed out for my play. BTW I've been a massive fan for years, love this mod, use it in every playthrough.

Yeah but you have to own the property first. Thanks for reply and help.

@chrisjrogers2000 - Oh do you mean the Hearthfire houses? You can disable those trapdoors via the architect tables at each house
