No Costume, Eyeball, Pumpkin, Woolly Jumper, and Fez
These costumes all have a normal hitbox and therefore should be taken care of normally. Beat 'em up enough, throw them away and you've done a good job. Be careful not to get thrown out yourself!

PROS
  • Normal hitbox, does not have any miscellanious protrusions to grab on.
  • Arguably the most agile.

CONS
  • No defense other than offense.
  • Good luck fighting bosses by yourself.
Fox, Cat, and Dino
These characters are unique in the fact that they have a long tail. Use this to your advantage, and you should be fine (cough Grind cough).

PROS
  • Ears, tail, and other protrusions can block attacks.
  • Tail can lead to some hilarious hijinks.

CONS
  • Said hilarious hijinks will often get you killed.
Bear and Chicken
The Bear and Chicken are similar to the Fox and the Dino, as they have a tail. This tail is much smaller, however, don't rely on it to defeat these two. They're arguably the hardest to defeat of all the "normal" characters.

PROS
  • Larger hand hitbox allows for easier climbing and easier landing of punches.
  • Can go berserk if previous upside is used with the Shift key.

CONS
  • Like the Fox and Dino, the tail may end up destroying the player.. This is much less likely for the Bear and Chicken, but it can still happen.
  • Larger hand hitbox can result in disaster in some cases.
Reindeer
The Reindeer has the second-largest head hitbox of any character in the game, only to be trumped by the aptly named "Big Head." Its antlers can come in handy, as they can block attacks much better than the Fox's ears.

PROS
  • Antlers can allow the Reindeer to escape some sticky situations by blocking attacks.

CONS
  • Antlers can force the Reindeer into sticky situations.
Cap, Sombrero, Top Hat, Santa, and Festive Hat
All of these guys have hats that change their head hitbox to varying degrees. These hats can be taken off with enough force, but it won't matter much in the end.

PROS
  • Hats can block attacks.
  • Sombrero's hat can save your life in maps like Wheel or Vents.
  • Super stylin~

CONS
  • Again, these hats may cause the player to unavoidably die.
Bauble and Puddin
These two are probably some of the most useful costumes in the game in maps like Incinerator or Buoy. They aren't very manuverable, but can take hits like a champ.

PROS
  • Their bodies cannot take damage, they can only be damaged if their head or limbs are attacked.
  • Big bodies make it impossible to grind them, and it makes it hard for the Bauble or Puddin to get sucked into the side fans on Vents.
  • Very awkward to carry.

CONS
  • They aren't very limber, and cannot effectively eliminate opponents like other characters.
  • Climbing is very, very hard.
  • Only good on like half of the maps in the game.
Headless
This costume is probably the funniest of all of them. The head and body are seperate, and this can lead to very interesting shenanigans.

PROS
  • Body does not lose health unless the head is hit.
  • If you hold on to your head, jump, and kick at the apex of your jump, you can make a last ditch effort to escape from your foes by flying away magically!
  • Comic relief in the midst of battle.

CONS
  • Head cannot attack.
  • Player must worry about the head as well as the body, and the head can be killed very easily unless the body is there to guard it.
Big Head
This is probably the worst costume in the game in terms of use. It has a giant, vunerable head with no direct bonus.

PROS
  • Occasionally saves your life in Vents and Wheel, but that's about it.

CONS
  • Has a big head that's easily stunned.
  • Is not very agile because of his big head.
  • His head may get in the way of his attacks.
  • His head may get in the way of climbing.
Pin Head
This guy is the polar opposite of the aforementioned Big Head. He has a little inky dinky head, and it can be very useful in most cases.

PROS
  • Head is very hard to hit.

CONS
  • Can be picked up very easily.
Conclusion
Welp, that sure was a guide. Hope it helped your costume choice and good night. Again, some credit goes to "All Enemy Costume advantages"[http//steamhttp] for some stuff.
