The Drill

Description
To beat this one you'll need to find a way to drill a 3 block deep hole in the back of the item. To make matters worse, the item is stuck on rails so you can't move it around freely. To top it off, you'll need to solve the puzzle with only conveyors, platforms and eviscerators. Good luck!

140 / 383 / 99. Just drill 2 at a time on a 23 cycle!

Really over engineered but I'm pretty proud I solved the puzzle without peeking at any solutions.

I know it's an old puzzle but I was stuck on this for a while and wanted to share!
146/131/7 and I think it's optimal for speed and blocks. https://i.imgur.com/GXYIO33.gif

Very nice puzzle. Here's my (very unoptimized) solution. http://i.imgur.com/5ElnDz7.gifv

Damn, Hypnotic... That is a really awesome way to solve it.

I started with a very elaborate construction and kept simplifying until I stumbled into a 146c / 277f solution: http://i.imgur.com/wDUwWLk.gif

I'm normally not much into record scores (I'm more interested in balanced, efficient ones), but for this puzzle I think I found one that meets both: 228/108
The solution is similar to this one [imgur.com], but has been tweaked a bit since I took the screenshots.

Please make more like this!

241/177. I'm sure the footprint can be optimized further. Great puzzle!
