Description
SP/MP-Coop (10) compatible. Third mission in the series.

Mission
PMC Versus operators will clear Ostrov Usinsk of any enemy AA threats and call in on Ghost. After that the operators will clear and destroy the OP and oversee the destruction of the enemy MBT's on the coast.

Situation
June 8th, 2003: the NATO advance is moving quickly thanks to the breakthrough last month. Now the NATO local high command (callsign Red Crown) wants PMC Versus to assist in controlling the area north of Berezniki. To do this, PMC Versus operators (callsign November) must take out the enemy MBTs guarding the coastline.

November has been given command over two NATO assault helicopters (callsign Ghost) but the operators must first clear the Ostrov Usinsk isle of СРГА AA threats. When November estimates that there are no AA threats left, they will call in on Ghost who will move in from the north-west, take out the MBT's on the coastline and RTB.

November must also clear a observation post on the east side of the isle and destroy any and all equipment found there. The OP is overlooking the NATO's main advance path and is a perfect spot for the enemy to call in artillery. Red Crown stresses that Ghost's survival is mission critical. If something were to happen to the helicopters, it will be November's responsibility to neutralize those MBTs.

Commission for this operation is 22,000 dollars.

Enemy
NATO scouts have spotted at least two enemy SPAAGs at the AA site in the center of the isle. Other than that, the enemy numbers remain unknown. Possibly small units of enemy infantry and MANPADSs are present. Red Crown estimates that there are small enemy units on the other isles to the south as well.

pointless, tanks cannot be destroyed and ennemies are quite invisible

Yeah, I've tried 3 of these very promising missions and haven't been able to call support on any of them. Anyone know why?

For me too. I can not call Ghost and therefore there is no end. The rest was really good. It could be that the reason for failing is that the Ghost was acting at the beginning and destroyed all AA's.

Part 2 (character limit)

After initial shock when the task for MBT's ticked, we smoked the area and ran for the boats. We knew we can't push through the enemy, so we used the boats to reinsert far away from there.

We managed to sneak to the OP, saw top of a camonet and top of what looked like a vehicle. Bro threw a grenade at the camonet, and I shot the vehicle with a launcher, and the task ticked.
We just ran like hell to the boats, didn't even saw any enemies at OP, maybe the Ghost took em out, maybe that grenade, or they left earlier when we were fighting shilkas, definitely didn't stick around long enough to check :)

Heh, we really underestimated that optional AA task, we lost some guys to the infantry, some to the second shilka (the angry one, since we destroyed the first).

By the time the second shilka was burning, it was only me and my bro, all the AI's died. We had to keep pulling back, since they kept coming and shooting us (we couldn't spot them properly without better optics - pine trees are a nightmare against AI)

Soon we were at some rocks at the beach with no ground to retreat, and the only move that was left to make was to hold our ground, and call in Ghost. Since you wrote this in the briefing "If something were to happen to the helicopters" - we were sure there is no way the choppers deal with it alone, but desperate times, desperate measures.
