Description
Sets Top speed to Approximately 522.0 m/s for everything at cap. Suits move 5% faster.

This is about the highest speed recomended by Keen.

Be advised that as this modifies the Environment.sbc file, it may override other settings you have in game for your environment. Tested with a few skybox mods without confict.

I've noticed this issue as well. The only way those landers can successfully land is because their speed is capped at 100 m/s. I could make a variant that caps large ships to safe speeds for landing, but that would limit the funcuallity of the mod. On the other hand, many servers are just creating modded starter ships as the work around instead. Lighter ships like small ships with cargo for everything in them is typically the best approach. Less to slow them down, so you don't have to give to many resources dedicated to thrusters for your new players.

So there is a new issue with these speed mods and certain starts.

The latest update starts Star System at 15km. Speed increases to about 300m/s which is too fast for the basic atmospheric thrusters of the starting ship to actually slow down and land.

Any suggestions?

Keen has since resolved the issue between skyboxes and speed mods, so both should work now.

Adding the mod to the world is all it takes however if you have a custom skybox mod, it could conflict with any of the speed mods til the conflict is fixed by Keen

None of the top speed mods seem to be working. Do I need to do anything other than just add it to the mod list for my world?
