Description
The Principality of Andorra

This mod adds the Principality of Andorra to the game, led by Roger-Bernard III!

Andorra is a tiny principality between France and Spain in the Pyrenees. Despite it's size, Andorra has clearly defined itself as a prosperous and stable nation, with a fairly untumultuous history defined by it's various legal mechanisms such as the Pareage, and the Council of the Land which form the framework of it's modern government!

It is the only country in the world to have both a president and a monarch, and as of december 2014, it's people are the longest lived.

Mod details

Leader-Roger-Bernard III

Trait-"Pareage"

"Gain a free social policy when you complete a social policy tree. Great works yield +1 culture"

Unique unit-"Sometent"

A weaker rifleman replacement (31 combat strength) with around half production cost and the altitude training promotion. Use it to swarm your foes, or defend your hilly home!

Unique building-"Muntanya resort"

A stadium replacement, the Muntanya resort yields 3 happiness and converts 34% of culture from great works, landmarks and wonders into tourism, but it can only built in a city on hills. 3 gold maintenance.

Strategy

Being a cultural civilisation, if you really focus on great people then you can make the most out of the unique ability. You'll be rolling in social advancement in no time! In the lategame the Muntanya resort is unlocked by the same tech as hotels, refrigeration, and so beelining for this tech is advised to build a tourist industry as mighty as the actual principality! Be careful though as the resorts can only be built in hill cities! If others would dare challenge Andorra's cultural supremacy on the field of battle, then levy Sometent militia to defend your home!

Supports-YNAEMP, JFD's core cultural diversity, RED, Piety and Prestige, Civ IV leader traits, unique cultural influence

Note-A civilopedia bug present in the current images is fixed.

on the other hand, while the UA is not so great, the tourism boost seems pretty large, so that makes up for it

Does Ideology count towards filling out policy trees to get the free one?

If not, I think it's a bit underpowered as an ability. You'll get, probably, 3 free policies at most. It's an interesting idea, though!

I hope that you do the Civilization of Syracuse soon.
The famous Archimedes was born there. It'd be col if the civs bonus was like 20% when discovering maths or during war civ unique units cost20% less

Really enjoying the civs in your pack so far, most of them are well balanced like this one while adding new twists to the game. Well done!
