Grey Knight Terminator

Description
Once again, please read the numbered portion of the description to avoid unecessary confusion. If you already read the one for the Tau Fire Warriors, feel free to skip it, it's basically the same things.

Only one model this time, I'm afraid. The basic Grey Knight Terminator model. I would have waited until I finished the Terminator Librarian as well, but it's quite a different concept, and I didn't know how long it would take to make. After the Terminator Librarian I'll try to make some Space Marine and Ork models as well.

Also, with the completion of this model I realized... that I didn't even take into consideration the fact that a lot of models will be bigger than the tau models but still require the same base piece. As a result you'll notice the base of this one is a bit bigger. In the future I may re-release version of these models set to proper scale, but for now I need to make at least a few of differing sizes to see how much I need to scale these models down. I also need to make sure TTS won't have any... uh... disagreements with my size choices when it comes to rendering them.

-----------------------------------------

1) IMPORTANT! This model has tendancy to glitch up textures (mostly its own, though it also tends to accidentally change the texture of the default custom model cube, but not things spawned after it) The simple way I've found to avoid this is to spawn two models in a row. Otherwise it is sometimes the case that the model will accidentally use the texture of the next item you spawn. Why it does this, I'm not sure, but I'm thinking it has to do with the sheer amount of triangles involved in the models.

2) Model Complexity: These models are a little more indepth than other models. That's not to be confused with them being BETTER than other models. I'm actually just a really bad 3D modeller and skinner. Sorry. Recommended triangles for basic objects in TTS is like 255, mine uses.... a lot more, to say the least, because I'm not skilled enough to simplify them without seriously degrading their quality. As a result (I think) the aforementioned error happens. Other than that error I have noticed no serious performance issues other than the standard lag when loading an item for the first time.

3) Copyright. These are made from scratch, by me (Do what you like with the models, just give me some credit if you use them for something else, please). That being said they're also fanart from the Warhammer 40k series. While it is completely within my rights to share my fanart, it wouldn't surprise me if someone/company threw a hissy fit over this. If that should happen, I completely expect that the dev for Tabletop Simulator will INSTANTLY buckle and tear down this item (Can't blame them, I would too). If that should happen, feel free to contact me and I'll send you a link to the texture files and model files. What you do after that is of no concern to me, though naturally trust that you would never go against the wishes of the owners of Warhammer 40k and continue using said models in TTS.

-----------------------------------------

That about covers everything I can think of. If the models should stop downloading properly, let me know, I'll see if it's a problem with the host and if it is, I'll try to find a suitable method for fixing the issue. Other than that, enjoy!

I know that your just making the figures but it would be cool if Warhammer actually took an intrest and helped make a game out of it. Thats what I'm looking for. An online version of the tabletop Warhammer 40k game. The real life models are just too expensive. And I could help with some of the modeling depending on what program you are using. Thanks by the way. They look great.

I'm extremely interested in making Warhammer 40k playable in TTS. I don't have experience in 3d modelling, but if you have time to teach me, I'd be more than happy to help you in these sorts of projects.

Yeah, working on the Grey Knight Terminator Librarian right now. Also someone requested a few orc and space marine models (Makes sense). Just kinda working my way through models randomly for the most part. Aside from this, the other tau ones I made, and the requests, gonna kinda work my way up from the least complex warhammer models. Hopefully build up some good modelling/texturing technique in the process

It'd be nice. Though I think there's some features that TTS could use that would make playing warhammer a little easier to play. Mainly a system for displaying model information that's a little more organizable than just changing the model's description. Though, what I REALLY wish is that there was some support for general modding above adding new models. I'd kill for the ability to implement my own menu and displays and what not. For all I know the ability's already out there, but I've never really looked it up much.

Thanks, a certain company likes to charge too much for their models.
