Where the Rook acts as an all around support vessel for Phoenix systems, the Namazu is the heavy defense of these facilities. Boasting both a thick armor and heavy armament, the Namazu is designed to be the vanguard of the defense fleets, acting as the basic unit of such defensive lines. Here, its armor allows it to soak up a decent punishment while also pumping out wave after wave of rockets to ward off pirates and other threats.

***This ship is designed to be part of a series which i am calling the "Home Fleet" - these ships have gold trim to identify them, and are designed primarily to be short range craft dedicated to the defense of station and facilities. Therefore, they will often be completely or mostly battery powered, heavily armored (rather than a focus on speed and maneuverability), typically heavily armed, and also incorporate several support elements to aid facilities, such as docking and resupply functions. Also, since home fleet ships are made to operate deep within Phoenix space, they are designed to take more raw materials (using refineries and assemblers) from mining facilities rather than the fully refined ammunition and supplies that are available as standard on the field.***

Controlling the Turrets --------------------------------------------------

Pilot Console
- Can turn off all Rocket Launchers

Turret Consoles (1-7)
- Tab 1 has the commands to view the turret's camera, rotate it left or right, turn the turret's launchers on/off, and fire the launchers
- Tab 2 has the on/off commands for all 7 turret launchers

Gunnery Commander's Station
- Tab 1 has the commands to view the Commander's parascope cameras, and rotate the parascope
- Tab 2 has the on/off commands for all 7 turret launchers
- Tab 3 has the rotor commands for Dorsal Turret Groups 1 & 2, as well as the Launcher On/Off command for both groups, respectively. It also has the ability to fire all launchers
- Tab 4 has the rotor commands for the Ventral Turret Group, as well as the Launcher On/Off command for that group. It also has the ability to fire all launchers

WARNING: It is important that only turrets that are being manned have their launchers activated. Remember that when firing launchers, all active launchers will fire, so if a turret is pointing at a turret in front of it and you have failed to turn it off before firing, you will destroy that turret.

If, for example, you are firing straight ahead, you can have turrets 1,4,6,7 activated, but if you have any others activated you will inflict damage on yourself.

Always check the Tab 2 when controlling a turret to ensure that you are only firing the turrets you wish to!

main thing is you have to be patient with yourself. no one starts out with the best looking ships, i never posted the first few ships i made for a reason. even now, i tend to trash alot of designs before finally coming up with something i like the look of.

My god you are so much more talented than me. Like damn. I thought my ships were pretty good, and then I come look at your ships.... wow. Im pretty sure your ship would beat by "Dreadnought" cruiser.

Hell of a ship, I bet she doesn't like stopping with a thruster arrangement like that. Love the interior, looks like I wish my interiors could look :(
