The easiest way to flip the tiles correctly is to click-hold a tile to pick it up, then while you are holding it, press F, followed by Alt-F. This will flip the tile and orient it correctly. So, short version is Click -> F -> Alt-F -> Unclick. Easy enough.
I just played a couple of games and TTS makes it so quick to get through a game.
Hint: Setting the grid to 3.32 and offset snap makes tile placement really easy (set the board with offset snap off, then turn it on).
