NOTE: I have temporarily fixed the broadside guns from exploding when the ship is loaded. The cause was a wheel bug with the suspension block. I will wait until next update to see if the devs fix this or not. Still working on the spinning and exploding of the middle section. Cheers

A battle cruiser with enough firepower to cripple an entire fleet. The “Vintersol” is built around a Missile VLS (Vertical Launch System) of 8 launch bays and 40 missiles in total. This vessel is best suited for long range engagements but can hold its own in close combat with its manoeuvrable broadside rocket launchers.

A hangar bay is also built in to house a small unit of fighters or a single G-101 Gunship. If the bridge comes under heavy fire, the “bridge piece” can sink down under the protection of the deck below with the push of a single button. The bridge is then in the cover of a bunker where the main crew can continue battle operations as per normal.

This ship / world has NO MODS! There are several empty rooms to include modded mess hall packs or crew bunks if one wishes to.

“Vintersol” translates to “Winter Sun” in Swedish / Norwegian / Danish. Wintersun is also the name of a kickass band! Enjoy!
