[COOP 1-4]Cloak of Darkness

Description
Situation
At 0600 hours this morning, a NATO Blackfoot helicopter was shot down over Stratis. One crew member has been confirmed KIA and another has been captured by insurgent forces operating in the area.

Alpha 1 has been deployed to the area, and will infiltrate the town of Girna and secure the pilot.

Mission
You have been inserted into the valley to the east of Girna. A weapon stash will be waiting for you on arrival. Your task is to move into the town however you see fit, and search the area until you find the captured crew member. Once you have secured the crew member, make your way to the exfil point where a boat will be waiting for you.

Intel
Drone recon over the surrounding area has found several patrols along the mountain sides as well as the valley floor. In addition to this, there is a heavy insurgent presence in the town itself. Excercise extreme caution when moving through the valley and the town.

Unfortunatly, we have not been able to locate which building the crew member is being kept in, however we have seen increase patrols in the central and northern portions of the town.

OVERVIEW

This mission is a simple hostage resuce mission. Set at midnight, the mission is intended to be played with an aspect of stealth however it is not mandatory. A virtual ammo box is placed at the spawn so feel free to gear up with whatever you think you'll be needing.

Enemy patrols are semi-random, and will continue to patrol along the mountains and valleys until alerted. At the moment, the position of the hostage in the town is semi randomized.

This is my first mission, so please don't expect perfection. It shouldn't be too challanging of a mission if you've got a good group of guys. I built this mission around the idea that I would be playing with another two people, so four players should be more than enough. If you feel the need to add more players, open the mission up and add in another person to the squad.

Once you have rescued the hostage, he will be placed under your control. It is possible therefore to command him around and get him into vehicles using the base ArmA 3 command system. For this reason it is imperative that you have a team leader.

This mission takes into use the VAS by Tonic and Farooq's Revive made by, well, Farooq. Additionally, Virtual Arsenal has been implemented. Hope you enjoy!

Nice, I like it. I did cheese it a bit though: I took a mortar from the arsenal and had a teammate shell every enemy as fast as I could spot them. Taking the town was the best part.

A tip: make another version of this mission in daylight.

Not well edit, killing the pilot result in nothing, no ( ending ) and you can rush into the village without difficulty... I don't know how you got 4 star and more than 9000 subscribers
