OARV Maybug

Description
Orion Aglomerate Research Vessel "Maybug".
Here's one of my most recent constructions, a civilian vessel capable of long distance exploration and survey. Mainly focused on solar power here to cut down the uranium bills. WARNING! This ship is also boobytrapped. I am sure it's nothing you can't handle, but just going to mention it here to avoid unnecessary frustration.

Stats:
  • Obviously, mod free!
  • Blocks used: 1923 of which 447 are non-armour.
  • Triangles: 320,602.
  • Mass: 1,960,530 kg.
  • Thrusters: 74 of which 5 are large.
  • Gyros: 29.
  • Solar panel power output: Varying, max I've gotten out is just under 3.5 MW
  • Maximum power output from batteries: 76 MW.
  • Auxiliary small reactor offering 4 MW of additional power.

Equipment:
  • 4 rotatable solar arrays to point at the sun for better charging (Unfortunately their placing doesn't permit full usage of all of them at the same time, consider them to be redundant backups). The solar arrays are configured to be unable of colliding with any of the other ones.
  • Large powerwheel consisting of 16 batteries and 3 auxiliary batteries just in case it gets destroyed.
  • 5 gatling turrets armed and ready to shred through personal-space violating vessels! Or just meteors, if those choose to fly by.
  • Small production capacity consisting of a refinery and two assemblers.
  • Considerably limited cargo space. Just enough to cover some basic and more advanced needs, however this ship isn't a hauler.
  • Small hangar bay.
  • Small assembly bay on top (perfect for the construction of communication satelites or similarly small constructions).
  • Three chambers ready to be furnished to anyone's desire.
  • Medbay.
  • Survival prepared, completely covered with conveyors where required.
