This is a modded QuickStart miner with the following revisions:

* Added addition gyroscopes
* Removed Battery and extra Reactors
* Moved location of Antenna and Ore Detector
* Replaced chute with coupler

Exploration notes:

The purpose of this build is to reduce the overall cost and ability to build it from minimal material to quickly begin mining with a spawner ship. Once you obtain material to make the small reactor you can guy items like the grav gen, automatic doors, and part of the hull of the Spawner 1 ship to build this miner.

Change from Quickstart notes:

The gyros were added due to the QuickStart miner having a tendancy to wobble while mining causing sever damage. This ship's new design has a shorter profile as well to help prevent any damage to its rear while making adjustments in the mine.

The removal of the extra reactors and battery was due to cost for a new start. This also is the reason why it is shorter as mentioned above.

The chute was removed in favor of the connector to help control production as you return to spawner ship.
